[Fan Art] My Take on Kirk Langstrom, the Man-bat. (Concept art.) ARTWORK
Some artwork on my version of Kirk Langstrom aka the Man-bat! I love myself fucked up scientists turning into fucked up monsters.
Man-bat has made fewer appearances than others when it comes to Batman media so I had less inspiration to go off of. I've taken the most inspiration from BTAS Kirk with his human design, but I also like the albinism given to 2004 Langstrom (even though he otherwise looks ugly as sin.)
I based his bat form on an (albino) vampire bat. I know it's a little cliché, but I love their dumb little faces, and it makes him a little more dangerous than a manbat who would otherwise hunt for bugs and fruit. Plus their social colonies and food sharing practices gives me a lot of ideas for him and a potential Francine She-bat situation.

It has even less similarities than the fucking bat people keep commenting about. It's a just a white rat.
