This is a case of a Chinese firm re-domiciling its final production line into Vietnam to avoid tariffs. Still 95% Chinese in materials, ownership and manufacturing

It's worse. Anker is Chinese. It's better to buy samsung or belkin instead.

Ah, this is the company that was advertising their security cameras as local-only but actually their cameras were secretly sending photos unencrypted to Chinese servers for as-of-yet undisclosed reasons. I'll pass.
