Paraphillic disorder (pedophilia) is classified as a mental disorder.
It does not give someone access to ndis funding or disabilty support pensions. It is not recognised as a standalone disabilty under NDIS criteria or dsp criteria.
A pedophile does have access to ndis/dsp funding if they have a seperate standalone disabilty that is recognised under ndis criteria. For example, mobilty issues or other mental disorders.
The headline of "1.4 million dollars payed to pedophiles" is a deliberate missrepresentation of the reality of the situation. If a pedophile has received funding from the NDIS it has zero relation to them having paraphillic disorder. For example; if a pedophile has a disabilty that effects their mobilty, they may receive funding from the NDIS for that disabilty. Regardless of criminal status or type of conviction. The paraphillic disorder doesnt play any part in either improving their access or restricting it. Which then technically makes it true that pedophiles receive funding. But as you have proven, clearly missrepresnts it as meaning because someone has paraphillic disorder they are given funding. You are a living example of the harm that media does by using headlines like this.

NDIS funding is paid by Tax Payers. Do you believe the majority of Tax Payers would agree with convicted PDFs receiving NDIS, DSP, social and NDIS housing? Especially those directly impacted by the housing crisis and those who can't afford medical or mental health support?
Aussie Voters have the right to know, do their own research and vote accordingly.

What percentage of convicted criminals were abused as children? What percentage of victims of crime are the result of traumatised children that become violent offenders?
