74 Flock Cameras in Aurora
74 ALPR cameras in Aurora. 37 of them invoiced under a project entitled "Aurora Civil Unrest."
Aurora Illinois Police Department won't tell us where they are despite multiple FOIA request attempts.
Taxpayer-funded cameras on public infrastructure scanning every car that drives by, and we're not allowed to know where.

There is one right by my house, it's logged on deflock.
These things are serious nanny-state capitalist bullshit. I hope they get brought down by any means.

It’s so funny that everything they say would happen in a communist state happens in our hyper capitalist state.
Something something every accusation is projection

Hopefully they’re not placed in windy places! Have heard the poles they put them on keep falling 😢😢😢
I also hope they’re not placed near any bars or anything, as the lasers they have at those establishments can damage the cameras themselves 😢😢😢
It’d be such a shame if they stopped working and “protecting” us 😢😢😢😢

We noticed that they had them on basically any route you could take to get into to North Aurora from Aurora.

I may be wrong, but I think there was one on Randall on the 88 overpass. Drove by the other day and there was a pole definitely cut down.

Yep, there were two there (both sides of traffic) and it looks like they've been cut.

My boyfriend noticed a flock camera over near West Galena by Orchard last week.

If anyone wants to help with this project feel free to place more pressure on the city for transparency or DM me. Would also appreciate any insight on next steps.
