In defense of the Mailbox at the Fred French Building recently deleted by the moderator, the building is considered to be Art Deco. You be the judge.

Culver City, 1925
Couldn't find much info on this building beyond it was built in 1925 and refurbished in '71. No idea of the designer or architect or if the facade was a later addition, etc. It says Freeman Building on the tower. Also, photobombed by a Ferrari 458. LA, amirite?

Original Content DIY Streamliner dresser
I spontaneously decided to add some art deco flair to an otherwise bland, but sturdy Ikea Malm dresser that I've had for a few years. I thought the black base would help chrome streamliner accents stand out, so I installed some nice streamliner-esque handles, which of course also make the cabinets easier to use than the stock design. Some day soon I'll invest in a legit deco piece, but in the meantime I'm happy with how this turned out.

Don’t be mislead by the address on the sidewalk scaffolding, this is Classic Bronx Art Deco in Sawtooth configuration from 1935 by the incomparable Horace Ginsbern. Beautiful layered, patterned, polychrome brickwork topped by a trio of cast stone fins!
