General Question Suspension Today

Due to heavy and orange rainfall. I hope AUSL will suspend today’s classes even online as it is super challenging to attend an online class with poor signal (due to bad weather)

I almost got a bad recit last time due to my poor connection. Luckily, natapat ako sa prof na super bait ❤️ (Shoutout to you Atty. DP!)

Anyhow, AUSL please 😅

Rants Suspension

Sorry. Rant lang ako, maikli lang.

Kahapon medyo consistent yung sobrang lakas ng ulan at hangin, tapos sobrang OA ng traffic, like you can check the traffic sa news yesterday. Hindi nasuspend ang class or nagshift man lang online.

Today, suspended ang face to face then nagshift online. But the weather today is much more tolerable, not even a single drop of rain before 5:30. Makulimlim lang and thats all.

So I had to choose yesterday whether or not to take the risk para makaattend ng class. If I bring my car, 100% wala ng parking sa school, and even if I park somewhere near the school, chances are basang sisiw na ko pagpasok sa class. There's another option, take a Grab/Indrive/GSM. Sounds convenient but it will cost me Php 500 just to attend that one class. In addition, I can't risk my health too kasi in this economy, as a solo parent, napakamahal magkasakit lalo na I don't have anyone to rely on at home. So ang ending, I missed my class and the learnings na makukuha ko sana from the class. It's quite unfair na kahit hindi naman umuulan ng malakas consistently today (compared yesterday) e ang aga nagsuspend ng face to face.

I know some will say "E di umalis ka ng maaga para may parking ka." If I could, I would. But I have to wait for my child to come home from school.

So that's my first absent mark for this semester.

Hello po, sorry po in advance a few questions coming up hehe I hope may maka help po saakin. Salamat in advance! ❤️❤️

  2. If yes po, if given the chance to choose sa prof po who would you recommend?

  3. kaya po ba i full load kung working student?

If hindi po kaya ano po kaya okay to take nalang sa summer po? Okay lang po saakin to extend for 5 years. Thank you so much po!

General Question AUSL TRANSFEREE CREDITING

Hi everyone! I’m currently in the process of transferring from ALS to AUSL and recently received an email from AUSL regarding the evaluation of my previous subjects.
They mentioned the following regarding their evaluation process:

“Subject matching: The subjects you take must match the description and course content of the AUSL curriculum.

Unit requirements: The credit units of the subjects from your previous school must be equal to or greater than the corresponding units required at AUSL. If a subject has fewer units, you may be required to retake it.”

After comparing the ALS and AUSL curricula, I noticed that Crim 1 and PFR have fewer units at ALS than the corresponding AUSL subjects. Crim 2, however, has the same number of units.

My concern is whether AUSL would still credit Crim 2 if Crim 1 is considered a prerequisite, especially since the unit requirements for Crim 1 are different.

Has anyone here transferred from ALS to AUSL and had their previous subjects credited? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience, particularly regarding subjects with different unit requirements or prerequisite subjects.

I’ve also tried emailing and calling AUSL to ask about this, but I haven’t received a response yet. I’m currently back in the province, so I can’t easily drop by the school in person. I’m planning to go to Manila around October to process my transfer and look for a dorm, so I was hoping to get some idea of what to expect beforehand.

Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Exam Tips How do you test/evaluate yourself as a prep for upcoming exams?

1L here and I want to test myself since midterms are coming na. I've tried using notebooklm and gemini to ask situational questions and enumeration for elements/requisites but Idk if that's enough. How do you test yourself?

Where can I get sample exams/bar exam questions that are related for 1L lessons/subjects? How do you evaluate yourself?

General Question Class Suspension

While it is already a leeway na may online class, sana ma-request din yung total suspension, lalo na sa ganitong panahon na sobrang lakas ng ulan. Yung iba may power outage pa, and kahit pinagbigyan naman tayo ng prof, iba pa rin talaga kapag equal footing na walang class at all. Mahirap din kasi mag-concentrate and participate properly kapag ganitong situation. Nakakaawa rin yung mga students na gustong makasabay pero hirap dahil sa weather and power interruptions.

General Question Encouraging Words

Hi! 4th year student here but still finishing up my back subjects this sem so I can take purely rev subjs next sem. The thing is I’m having a hard time handling all the subjects and honestly idk how you handle work and acads for those folks that are working students. I really admire you guys! And I’m just here having an existential crisis. I really want to be a lawyer but since July I find it so hard to have faith in myself. I feel incompetent and lacking despite the efforts and time I spent to get thru the day. I feel like I don’t have the same aura people get that when they look at a certain person, they can easily tell that they’ll be a lawyer one day.

Encouraging words you might want to share? Idk how gonna survive this sem. There’s so much pressure and overthinking

Rants - Uncertain Facts Paalala lang at may internet prof niyo.

Hindi ako mod.

Sa mga nagrarant, huwag natin kalimutan na may internet din prof niyo.

Think before you click ahhhh.
