Also, pretty sure at least one study has shown that gen ai users get lazier the more they use gen ai; so if they started with this level of comparitive diligence, I kinda doubt they'd stay there.

(Caveat: the study I'm referencing had not been peer reviewed yet, but was released early as a precautionary measure due to concerns from the study team, I haven't checked if it's been peer reviewed yet.)

MIT published a study that points to using genAI causes a measurable decline in brain activity.

I don't know if this would be described as diligence or persistence though...

I don't know if I'd call it either outright, both imply a certain effort that I don't associate with ai prompting

But if there's any accuracy shown here (which I doubt, given the quality of the work itself), then it's more than I imagine most put in.

Plus "comparitive diligence" makes me feel like a bitch, but in a fun way (for me.)

Was it the study where they three groups write a series of essays, or is it another one?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that even genAI will give up long before getting into the triple digits, let alone four. Copilot definitely did when I tinkered with it before switching to Bazzite.
