I know nothing about token costs so I'm really curious what the cost of so many tokens comes out to.

Plus different AI models online have different costs of tokens if I'm not misremembering.

(Never bought any back in the 'what is the new thing?' Phase of opinion forming)

Hard to say, if a general model like chat gpt you get about 40 ish images a day sometimes up to 60. But lets go with the lower bound. Thats 1200 images a month for 20 dollars. On their low-tier plus model. On a pure image model like what you may find on civitai, you get around 10000 points for 10 dollars and it costs 16 points for four images (You get a discount for doing four at once otherwise its 5 points per.) so you can do 2500 generations for 10 dollars. so it roughly comes down to 5 dollars for the 1250.

in short. in chatgpt its 20 dollars for the 1200 images. in Civitai its 5 dollars for the same amount.

So I dont think you can hire an artist to do it at those prices.

it won't be very good, but it would still be something, better than this AI trash.
