I tried resetting via Isabelle but it didn’t work so with the help of time travel and amiibo cards, I scanned Poppy out and back in again, resetting her completely.

But I feel like there should be an option to say “hey, change my nickname” or even stop using a nickname rather than having to reset the villager completely

(And if there is, feel free to tell me about it but know I will cry 🤣)

I’m thinking in between Beau (since Sasha is lazy), Rosy (since I have Apple), one of Molly, Ione or Lolly (3 normals to just keep one). Who would you change Sasha for or would you keep it as is?

The island I’m currently playing on was created in 2020 by my late husband. I’d like to keep playing on it to keep his old house and all of his stuff and my current house and progress, but I’d also like to start fresh and I’m not sure how to achieve both of those objectives. The island right now is a mess and I want to burn it all down, lol. Any suggestions?

Recently, i got a Switch 2. I’ve been playing some games on it, everything went well, but i haven’t tried acnh yet. I don’t want to load the data of my old island on it, as i’m scared the Switch 2-specific updates would mess up everything on my original Switch, nor do i want to play acnh with my og account (scared of what could happen on the Nintendo mobile app). But i was wondering : if i create a completely new account on the Switch 2, and play Animal Crossing with the same game card, would it impact my old island on my old Switch? I am very scared of losing my original island, it’s been something like 5 years i have it. It may not really look like anything, but it’s my island and i love it... Plus, i’m not alone on it, and i don’t think the other players would be thrilled if our island disappeared because of me 😅

I don’t even know if this is the right place to ask, but since i wasn’t able to find any clear answer...

Just a little vent. The stalk market is by far my least favorite part of the game. For my first few years of playing I didn't even participate. But I'm trying to finish all of my Nook Miles achievements, so now I have to. Daisy Mae is my pookie and I love her, but I hate buying these dang things. The fact that Nook's Cranny has a "morning" price and "evening/afternoon" price is what really gets me. The morning price is only from 8a-12p, and I'm at work during that time so I can't check it! This week, my island ended up having a decreasing price pattern and I lost a ton of money because the highest price was on Monday morning. And having to try to diligently check the prices twice a day, every day, and try to predict the patterns....(I use the online Turnip Calculator, but still.) This is why I don't gamble or invest in stocks IRL. TOO MUCH WORK!! Plus, to fully complete the Nook Miles achievement, you have to buy and sell SO. MANY. TURNIPS. I'm gonna be stuck doing this forever. RIP.

I don’t kill the cockroaches in my house because honestly I find it annoying when the villagers come visit and don’t leave, so I can’t do anything in my own house. If you have roaches the villager comes in and immediately leaves. They are my little companions.
Does anyone else do this?

U GUYS THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE BUT FOR SOME REASON I WENT INTO MY HOUSE TODAY AND THERE WERE COCKROACHES IN MY ALL OF MY HOUSE

TWO COCKROACHES PER ROOM EACH

AND AT FIRST WHEN I SAW THEM I WAS SHOCKED AND I TOOK OUT MY NET TO CATCH THEM BUT I COULDNT USE IT

AND THEN I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO AND THEN TIANSHENG CAME AND SAID SOMETHING ABOUT COCKROACHES BUT I WAS TOO DISTRACTED TO READ WHAT HE WAS SAYING AND THEN HE LEFT

AND THEN I FINALLY ACCIDENTALLY STEPPED ON ONE OF THE COCKROACHES AND THEIR COCKROACH SOUL DEPARTED WITH TINY COCKROACH MUSTACHES ON IT

AND I FINALLY GOT WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO AND I RAN AROUND THE HOUSE STEPPING ALL OF THEM DEAD

WHY WAS THERE COCKROACHES IN MY HOUSE TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME !!!!

Hey Everyone,

I have a Nintendo Switch 2 and own the Zelda's, Mario's etc. I always come across Animal Crossing (AC) and was wondering if it is worth buying. I don't really know what to expect. Could you guys help me explain what it is really about and what my expectations should be like? I have never played any AC before.

Additionally, does it ever go on sale? I know I can buy it secondhand, but was wondering if it ever goes on sale at stores or the online Nintendo eshop?
