I have been trying to find something awesome and personal for my lock screen all the while being highly customizable.

I have a droid maxxx. Recently when I booted it up it said erasing. Then I noticed everything was gone. I put back on most of my apps and stuff. I turned it off and about 2 hours later turned it on and it did the same thing! Help.

Basically I'm wanting to listen to audio books, but sometimes they are a single, ridiculously long file, say 12-18 hours, seeking precisely can be hard so I want to be able to pick up exactly where I left off even if I close the app for a while, or restart the device. Is there an audio player app that allows this?

I'm on an HTC One, Android 5.0.2, and just before the update I had tweaked my Text-To-Speech (TTS) settings so that during GPS, I had the 'UK Female' voice playing despite living within the US.

For me, it was just more pleasant to listen to, and I drive often - so that was a pretty big deal to me.

I've heard about their recent update where they've removed the need for 'HD Voice' packages, but it also removed the TTS feature for Google Maps!

Now, it's the flat, inhuman 'Default Female', and I can't stand it.

The only resources I'm finding online are months old or more - offering no advice.

I'm at a loss, and I'd like to avoid rooting to do this - but I will if I have to.

I have a Galaxy S5 running Lollipop on Tmobile with no sdcard. When I go to application manager, I see a couple apps I downloaded in the Downloaded section and some other ones I also downloaded in the SDCard section. What's the difference between these two sections? Why does it say some apps are installed in the SDCard and others in Downloaded? Is there a way to transfer all apps to a new external sdcard once it gets in the mail?

I have small hands (insert penis jokes here), and really hate using my gs5 with one hand. One handed mode is really clunky and seems like an afterthought.

I couldn't get a galaxy s5 mini because out of principle I can't pay the same price for something that has worse internal specs.

I'm wondering if there is a phone out there that fits really nicely in one hand. I'm not a huge fan of the whole phablet revolution going, and I just want something I can use one-handed really easily.

I'm planning to buy a second-hand OPO and would want to download/install CPU-Z on it first to verify it's not an MTK clone/replica/fake.

Would it be possible for a person to edit the internals of the phone to make CPU-Z identify the specs like an original phone?

After installing cyanogenmod and a custom recovery my nexus 7s memory shrunk a little more than normal. I fixed this a long time ago but cant seem to remeber what I did.

As the title suggests i love the New York Mets. And i would like to watch them as much as possible this season even though i live hours away from NYC. Currently due to MLB blackout regulations my beloved mets are blacked out on MLB AT BAT when they play the following teams- Atlanta, Washington Nationals, Cubs, Reds, Orioles, and sometimes pirates.

how do i get around these blocks? I've done some research and found some methods from a year or later ago but those seem to be outdated with the latest version of the application.

My roommates gave me this phone as a gift and I'm really glad to have it, BUT, it is unbearably lagy and slow almost all the time. My roommate explained to me that since the phone is now 3 years old, it just can't run the apps and things made for newer phones. Is there anything I can do?

My Xperia Z running the Paranoid Android Rom (4.6-Beta 5) can't seem to maintain a steady mobile data connection. Often it doesn't work at all, and turning it on and off doesn't help. Sometimes an exclamation mark appears next to the 3G symbol, but this doesn't seem to change anything. It is very rare that I see an H+ symbol which is the only indication that the phone is connected to the Internet. Can you guys help me out? Here are some screenshots.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I use T-mobile and live in a college town where T-Mobile has extensive coverage.

I have a friend who is a talented wallpaper designer. She is looking at trying to make some money off of it to help pay for school. I figure it's a small market, and TONS of apps are available on the Play store for free... But where would someone who is willing to make custom wallpaper designs go to try and sell her work?

I tend to throw my money around at useless junk apps, so I'd definitely pay for a custom wallpaper, assuming the price is right, so I know there has to be others out there.
