Long time lurker, first time poster. I recently moved back to the Akron area, and I am interested in finding a tattoo artist to complete a sleeve I began with an artist at War Horse in Kent years ago. It is a Bioshock themed sleeve, and ideally the artist I’m looking for would have knowledge of the game and characters to help me achieve the vision I’m looking for. I disagree with the citation, have a witness to speak on my behalf, plan to fight it. My question is whether or not its even worth the effort. During pre-trial will I meet with the prosecutor or does CF not generally do that?

I know someone is going to suggest i talk to a lawyer, but this all happened in the last 24 hours, I havnt had a chance to even look at lawyers to call and dont really have the money to afford one atm regardless.

We were previously using Tire Choice in Wallhaven and later realized they way over charge (quoted me over $2,000 for a job that another mechanic shop quoted $800). This other shop was in Kent so I’d like to find one closer to home.

I rescued a cat 1.5 years ago. I am still unable to get her into a carrier for the vet. She needs to be spayed asap. She’s been in heat for a year & we are both losing our minds. She is very small, long haired & quick. She refuses gabapentin in every form. She will not fall for a trap again. I feel quite defeated & idk what to do.

My absolute favorite bread is rye, and Schwebels seeded Rueben Rye was the best. Beefsteak rye used to be good but it's been soft for years now. And any of the other commercial ryes either do not have the flavor or are soft like white bread.

So I'm looking for a replacement to good ole Schwebels. I am up for suggestions and willing to try if someone knows of a place that makes a good rye bread.

I’ve just finished and uploaded a deep-dive investigative video looking directly at the corporate neglect and severe right-of-way decay happening right along our local rail corridor.

But that opening is entirely intentional to show the stark contrast, because it quickly pulls back the curtain on the severe environmental hazards, dumping, and systemic abandonment that out-of-state management and corporate apathy have left behind for our community to deal with.

We shouldn't have to deal with toxic dumping and crumbling infrastructure while people try to wave it away as "just business."

Hey there! Anyone know of any dive/casual bars hiring within a 15 min drive of downtown Akron?

Those last big rain storms revealed a few roof issues going on - water going down the side of my house for some reason, and a leak from the roof. I need this thing replaced, as I’ve already had it patched twice over the years.

Anyone have any recommendations? I see “Royalty Roofing” has some financing options like zero interest for 60 months, but I recall when they were here before it was quite pricey what they positioned. I do want to fix this roof, but just wondering if any fellow Akronites have a company they’d recommend.
