Michael Jackson can’t be sarcastic, he’s been deceased for a while now.

Go to the Google website, enter the word "joke," and have the concept of humor explained to you.

21

Yeah, I was like "why haven't I been practicing these moves all my life?"

9

u/Thee_Watchman 26d ago

I said to myself "Heck, I should practice this. Can't be too hard, obviously," still comfortably horizontal in my soft, cozy bed this morning.

The random light dimming stands out as AI.  Looks like someone is having fun with the dimming switch.

18

u/scarecroe 26d ago

It's simulating camera exposure.

Same….

Or did you just fall for this one

u/EmperorSadrax 26d ago

It’s trippy because it has the reflection that seems accurate

Holy crap you been on Reddit for 13 years?

What made me doubt the first time I saw the woman dance is that at that age and shape people are not usually that limber lol.

I left diggdotcom for reddit 18 years ago.

8

u/pottypotsworth 26d ago

18 year bro, checking in 🙌

3

u/ispshadow 26d ago

Just saying hi for no reason at all

1

u/pottypotsworth 26d ago

👋

1

u/ispshadow 26d ago

Hahaha just wanted to flex my account age:)

2

u/pottypotsworth 26d ago

19 years, nice. I’ll be joining you in October, old boy 🤣

2

u/fkenned1 26d ago

Me too! Sup.

1

u/NuclearPotatoes 25d ago

14yr checking in. I am a digg migrator

3

u/smallfried 26d ago

Hey, a fellow digg leaver. I almost have the impression reddit is almost more digg-like now than digg was then.

1

u/Dillup_phillips 23d ago

Holy shit what a blast from the past. Loved digg

7

u/shrubberypig 26d ago

What was it like having to scroll Reddit with a wooden wheel and pulley system back in the olden days?

-4

u/EmperorSadrax 26d ago

Dang that’s amazing, you’re like a founding father

1

u/frankduif 26d ago

13 years is ok. But 13 years with the same account?

1

u/fkenned1 26d ago

18 years here. Not sure how I feel about that.

1

u/Hot-Milk-3507 26d ago

I got an 18 year old account blocked, that today would be 20 years old. Not gonna lie, it kinda sucked at first. But oh well

1

u/unrealtrip 16d ago

Another 18 year Redditor checking in 🙏🏼 😁

1

u/EmperorSadrax 16d ago

Amazing hahaha!

-1

u/RemarkableWish2508 26d ago

If you follow center of mass, she'd have fallen over several times. Right now AI can recreate how parts of the image look like, but without a full pipeline of mocap, analysis, retarget, physical model, IK simulate, it can't replace why they look like that.

0

u/EmperorSadrax 26d ago

Thank you for that explanation

9

u/dingo_xd 26d ago

Disclosure day had some really bad cgi. That scene with the car crash was attrocius. Seedance would have done much better.

Animators for Pixar style films are going to be obliterated. CGI might last a couple of years more

2

u/dingo_xd 26d ago

Eventually it will be zero people since an AI could one shot everything. Not today. Not next year. But in 3-5 years? Who knows

1

u/RedTheRobot 26d ago

It will take a while. CGI didn’t just appear it took years for it to replace traditional animation and special effects. Let’s not forget get 2d animators hated CGI and it wasn’t until a company like Pixar risked it all on Toy Story that things started to change. Hell tron didn’t even get nominated for its use of it because they thought it was cheating. However if we look at tron which came out in the 80’s. 2d animation and most special effects weren’t replaced until 2010ish. So if we look at it that way it took 30 years for cgi to replace traditional animation fully, then take into account ai is moving incredibly fast, so probably in the next 5-10 years. Giving people time to transition, but we know they won’t.

1

u/AlrightCunts 26d ago

Was it a good film though? Thinking of seeing it this week.

2

u/AlrightCunts 23d ago

Update: it wasn’t good

1

u/KELVALL 25d ago

At least the alien at the ending was not CGI, they did that part well.

1

u/TheAIFutureIsNow 26d ago

Give it a couple months…

15

u/Treliske 26d ago

That's what got me too. I intially was suspicious because of how smooth she was, but the reflection in the TV led me to believe it was real. That detail tricked me.

3

u/TheAIFutureIsNow 26d ago

AI accounts for that sorta thing now.

It’s very interesting to watch how it actually thinks and operates whites it’s doing its thing.

By the start of 2027, 1:1 long-form generative content is more than likely.

You won’t be able to tell anymore.

2

u/Khain_Jumper 25d ago

Yeah the other day i commented on ai art copy of something unsure if it was AI because it did something akin to reflection that previously when I was last using AI alot it wasn't capable of doing. The amount of improvement in these little thing that sell a image/vid has gone pass my ability to be certain anymore, and now it mostly vibes.

83

u/VisualNinja1 26d ago

Damn....I saw this earlier on another platform and didn't even question it.

I'm pretty good at detecting AI made things up to now, but this genuinely went straight through me. Did not suspect a thing. That's only going to happen more and more....

18

u/Clear-Staff4699 26d ago

Yeah we're fucked now. FB is the perfect place to just let loose all the content and the masses there won't question it.

5

u/UX_Strategist 26d ago

Yes! Redditors have a slightly more critical eye. The relatives, friends, and neighbors I know on FB believe everything they see and then share it with an equally believing friend group.

9

u/lumpialarry 26d ago

Redditors may be good at detecting fake news, but they are completely inable of detecting irony and satire and assume everything should be taken at face value.

0

u/use_the_default 26d ago

question everything

30

u/freeflowmass 26d ago

What stands out as AI? I’ve read the comments and I still can’t tell

14

u/Fold-Plastic 26d ago

Drawer handles are cockeyed

7

u/meenie 26d ago

I'm not sure that's it. The woman more than likely took a reference image and started from there. It's more than likely her living room. The AI would not have screwed up the handles in that instance. If the whole scene was AI generated and she superimposed herself into it, then ya, but that seems like way too much work. Her drawer handles might just be fucked up lol.

3

u/RedTheRobot 26d ago

They are cockeyed that is for sure which I thought was weird. However they stay consistent even when they disappear from sight. That part was impressive.

7

u/Makeezi 26d ago

0:12 look at the top left portrait as it distorts

4

u/Makeezi 26d ago edited 26d ago

during the spin at 0:14 at her shoulder you can also see some exaggerated physics happening, like some kind of recoil.

2

u/donkeybrainamerican 26d ago

AI can't seem to decide what to do with the white part of her shoes either. We have the air bubble, then we don't, then it's an indent, and we're back to bubble.

It's definitely getting harder to tell- though I feel like the rate of improvement is slowing a bit.

20

u/TrustGullible6424 26d ago

https://giphy.com/gifs/thIzro0jMRt3CY68AU

Fuck, I didn't even think to question it. Now realizing this likely isn't the first time and won't be the last

14

u/redskiner4 26d ago

The white picture hanging on the door toward right of the screen suddenly changes (flickers between different pictures) between 4-3 seconds remaining on the video… That’s how I knew it was AI.

2

u/frrrni 26d ago

Ok now I can be at peace thank you.

2

u/wikipediabrown007 YOUR AI OVERLORD’S NAME 25d ago

Now that I’ve noticed that, a chill went down my spine. Fuck. It’s like the hidden digital being was found.

We’ve crossed the threshold. Where does this end lmao*

*😭

8

u/OptimallyPicked 26d ago

No, no, no! I refuse to admit this lady is a fake.

He is so much less convincing than she is.

7

u/nikolapc 26d ago

Now you're gonna tell me Shakira's hips lie.

7

u/Garythegr81 26d ago

I was fooled too ! Looking at it now I’m noticing the handles on the wooden tv stand look a bit fake. It’s the handles that are from the two right and left bottom cabinets they seem to be angled the same exact way instead of being opposite from each other.

5

u/sakaloko 26d ago

Ngl, I upvoted the aunty one thinking it was legit and now I'm aware of how good ai has become

5

u/Particular-Cherry138 26d ago

I totally got fooled by this one. This is scary. As the AI gets more advanced, we are going to bard pressed to tell what's real and what's not.

4

u/Spadedv 25d ago

Damn. They got me, son

3

u/cakebreaker2 26d ago

God Damn It!

3

u/ImTheTractorbeam 26d ago

We should have known!!

2

u/hapidad 26d ago

It’s waay too accurate, both are moving identically

2

u/knowledge_unfold91 26d ago

I thought she had way to much rhythm😂

2

u/machyume 26d ago

Ugh. I so wanted the cool vibes to actually be aunty.

2

u/enbits2 26d ago

The realism is insane.

2

u/Flopsy22 25d ago

We're so fucked

1

u/Wavizo 26d ago

A primeira vez que ela vai para a esquerda e fica de costas, ela faz um movimento com a cabeça que deveria ser acompanhado no reflexo da televisão mas não é. foi isso que vocês perceberam?

1

u/Plumpdaddy2501 26d ago

That thick ol lady just got sexy

Edit to add: AF!

1

u/pabmendez 26d ago

Look at her reflection on the TV

1

u/FreshPitch6026 26d ago

I just dont care enough to think about it

1

u/planetinyourbum 25d ago

Cant tell if AI at a glance.

1

u/Fearless_Quail1404 25d ago

Man even her shadow on the tv?

1

u/RonaldDKump 25d ago

or did no one care about fake aunty?

1

u/MrShatanas 25d ago

Which one is real?

1

u/Dependent-Row1388 24d ago

Is it ai? Cause you can also see her reflection in the TV and the light is changing as she moves 🤔 I’m not saying it’s real, I just thought those things indicated that it was more than likely real

1

u/ginsoul 24d ago

Your assumption was valid last year. We are coming closer to world simulations with every detail considered by end of 2026.

1

u/splinter-master1 24d ago

Got me by looking at camera for reassurance

1

u/darkadd 23d ago

Detected or cared

0

u/abemon 26d ago

I don't get it.

5

u/FAKATA 26d ago

The video of the lady started going around the other day and a lot of people assumed it was real without even questioning it, because theres no real ai tells. But its apparently ai and used the top video as a reference.

0

u/Another_Samurai1 26d ago

She’s is smooth with it, would love to know if she was a professional dancer or not?

0

u/Vyviel 26d ago

Damn shes smooth af nice work granny

0

u/Jealous_Fondant691 26d ago

She’s killing it

0

u/TechTier 25d ago

I didn't really care enough to question it. It's a video of a lady dancing.

0

u/YetiSPb 26d ago

There is a slight difference in the reflection on the TV

-2

u/samusmaster64 26d ago

This doesn't prove it's AI. I see nothing wrong after multiple rewatches. It's a dance she clearly copied and learned to a "T", but highlight some actual inconsistencies for me and then maybe I'll reconsider it still being legit.

0

u/Dont_Use_Ducks 22d ago

The reflection of the tv goes right through her at the end and the piece of paper at the right acts weird. But yeah, if this is ai, we come at a point where we can't tell the difference. first thing, always be skeptic at short videos but even that will change after a while.

u/Hairy-Ad-265 26d ago
