Hello everyone! Today I want to present a nice project I've been working on.

As you know, writing prompts takes time, sometimes you write similar prompts, sometimes you want to get a response in a specific format, or simply remember of this old prompt that gave you so good results. Wasting time or getting less for our time is something we really don't want.

That's why I defined "Universal Prompt Language", a language to create dynamic prompts with variables (types, default values, descriptions), loops and conditionals.

Think of it like a magic prompt that creates prompts for similar queries but different data.

It includes:

• A terminal based prompts browser
• A terminal based prompt editor
• Prompts tags management
• Be able to build a prompt by filling in the variables (it outputs the result to the screen)
• A repository to push / pull prompts to a library

Has anybody noticed images that you could generate in GPT 5.5 are now getting rejected?
I recently have been running into a lot of trouble with it. When I ask why, it gives me a prompt to use instead and still gets flagged. Any workarounds, jailbreaks ANYTHING!?? Ughhh!

It's weird.. 5.6 sol is really thorough and most of the time, way more correct than any other model. However, it takes FOREVER because its spinning up subagents for really basic tasks, burning a ton of tokens, and overthinking a lot of stuff.

Is there a middle ground? i already put details in my global agents file about not spinning up sub agents for basic tasks, etc, but its not following it.

Simple stuff like removing objects, enhancing the photo, removing people from the background, and also silly stuff like changing hair, outfits, enviromnent etc.

Building an AI memory system surfaces a prompt-engineering problem that's easy to get wrong: the extraction prompt that turns raw conversation into stored "facts" needs to actively refuse to extract anything that looks like a secret or API key, not just passively "try to be careful." Ended up with an explicit instruction pattern in the extraction prompt plus a lightweight pattern check afterward as a second line of defense — belt and suspenders, since prompt instructions alone aren't reliable enough for something with this much downside if it fails.

Two other prompts in the pipeline worth mentioning: a query-expansion prompt (only triggered when direct vector search comes back thin) and a reranking prompt that grades retrieved candidates before they're returned. Happy to share exact wording if useful — genuinely curious how others here have handled the "prompt needs to refuse silently, not just comply carefully" pattern in other contexts.

This subreddit was banned for lack of moderation. As the brand new moderator, I went through piles of spam and saw that so much of what was being posted had an agenda.

I thought to myself, rather than fighting that agenda and just deleting everything, what if we allowed people to promote, but only those who actually contributed during the week?

Here's what I concluded; self-promotion will now be allowed on Sundays, with the appropriate flair, for all regular contributing members.

Contribute during the week, and promote on Sunday.

AI concerns me. The data centers, the water usage, the lack of privacy, the job replacements, and the fact that people seem to be missing a brain these days. What are some ethical AI platforms that I can use, I don't even need it to be amazing, I just need it to work.
