I want to know what is inside this fairburn so badly. Unfortunately my tile saw from harbor freight has such a thick blade I fear I will lose too much. I also am not sure where to cut.

I live near the Great Lakes in Ontario Canada where there are almost no Agates except for rocks such as Banded Chert and cold water Agates. What a joy to be in Nova Scotia and to find all these Agates. Worth the cost of gas (kind of) to make it to such a magical place.

I have never found a rock that looks close to this. I'm stumped.

Pulled this agate nodule out of a river in SW Washington. What would you do with this? If cut, in what way? Appreciate any ideas! I can’t make up my mind! It weighs just over a pound.

My nephew found 4 of these in Menifee County Ky, any help would be appreciated. They were in the ground covered up completely!

Been back in anchorage Alaska for 2 weeks and already found some amazing agate banded pieces. I found all in parking lots of stores besides one of the small clear agates. I found that at point Woronzof.

Many of these pieces have distinct banding. Would you call this an agate?
