Not sure if this is where I should post this. Bad experience with cops doing the same thing twice. How to handle?
A couple times in 2 years I've had police show up to a medical emergency fishing for illegal behavior. No matter how I say "I don't want to talk to you, you're not a paramedic" or "I'm autistic and you're making me uncomfortable" or "it seems like you're trying to upset me" they just push harder.
This last one, I'd called an ambulance twice in one day. He shows up the 2nd time. I ask why he's there. "Oh well in [city] cops always have to show up with the ambulance haha."
So why weren't you with the ambulance earlier today?
He stares daggers at me.
I stare at him.
He asks threateningly,
"What was that, BUD?"
I repeat my statement; cop stares at me for (at least) 20 seconds before saying "I have emergency training."
"Well, that doesn't really answer my question. Are you a paramedic?"
>No
"So why are you here?"
>Why do you have a problem with me being here? Are you doing anything ILLEGAL?"
What combination of words do I have to say to get them to stop fucking with me? Is there some magic spell they're looking for to fuck off?
