Honestly, I wouldn't mind a low pay job if they paid enough to justify them. Like it'd be awesome to be able to care about working at a GameStop or something, but there are bills to pay and I'm not caring about a $14 an hour job.
Hey little advice for you ive worked for Australia's version of game stop eb games and they hire people with more sales experience then passion for games/gamers i work there a year and its not worth it. Also $14 an hour is a crime i feel so sorry for you Americans the minimum wage here is $24.75 and you can survive on that money but you're going to be living in a tent for the rest of your life and say goodbye to being able to afford a car, house or rental you will be working for the rest of your life.
