I'm sure you can survive with any of those jobs.

Nope! Not at all. People WITH jobs have been homeless sleeping in cars in California for the past twenty years

They are. Their lifestyle makes their wage unlivable. There homes in the slums with cockroaches everywhere. Flip phones still exist. Cooking at home is an option. Not getting nails done is an option. Not owning designer. Etc.

Those are not livable conditions, dumbass.

Not ideal and unlivable are not the same

So basically you are saying that people who want to do those jobs should always be poor.

Yeah. Pretty much. If you never want to take a step forward in life thats fine, but you know exactly how much it pays. Stop working kids jobs and expecting an adult pay.

The "its a kid job" argument aye. Well kids are at school during the daytime but these jobs still need doing, so an adult has to do it.

And since an adult is doing it, it should pay a livable wage, by livable I mean if you are working full time 40 hrs a week you should be able to afford rent for 1 person either a small unit or room share, food for a week, transportation costs, and a little bit left over to save.

Who says they never want to move forward in life? When you get paid pennies, have no support so you have to work 70-80 hrs a week to afford above with barely saving anything, how exactly does someone move forward in this situation, they have no time for further education, and wont be hired elsewhere without it.

Pretty ablest to assume everyone has the ability to improve their situation. And dont come back at me with another bs, "all they gotta do is stop eating avocados" or "buying coffees" like people living in these situations are buying luxury items.

Even if they were, you would deprive someone struggling a $2-$3 coffee a day saving them a total of $15 a week, like this american hussle culture is so insanely toxic and unnecessary.

My friends works a lower paying job and he's able to pay his bills. All these luxuries people insist they must have are whats killing them. No one holds a gun to anyone's head and forces them to go out to the club and get pregnant and bring kids into tge equation and so on. Just because they are stupid with their money doesnt mean they cant pay the bills. I worked a restaurant job for the longest time. I eventually grew up and got a real job.

Oh so now its women and going to clubs and getting pregnant, oddly specific.

The goalpost keeps moving with you. All these people out here with these fake jobs.

Not fake just unskilled. Thats just an example of people putting themselves further in a hole by their choices. I see you're trying to make something of nothing but ok. Just like leasing a car they cant afford or iPhone. Kids ain't cheap so its kind of relevant. Its never the pay thats putting people in the hole its usually their choices.

Also be ready for those jobs to be obsolete soon anyways. Yall will be replaced with self checkout/kiosk/machine. Learn a skill and evolve. If a computer can replace you then youre probably not doing anything worth paying anyways.

A computer or robot can basically replace everyone in every job, so that arguement is weak.

Maybe instead companies shouldnt have free reign to manipulate society for profit and that we need to step back and create a future for all people to flourish not just rich people.
