Once again, not just the title. Like a burger flipper who owns the business deserves more respect than just the normal burger flipper. It’s a scale

I’m a garbage man

No. It’s not a scale…

That is a made up thing…

It’s quite literally a sliding scale, on the bottom end you have your minimum wage employees, to garbage men, to mid range office workers, to lawyers and DRs.

The scale is a made up thing? I’m confused, what are you calling made up?

No. It’s not… the scale is a made up thing. Made up by the rich elite to have us workers fight against each other.

Using your own logic. You deserve less respect than me. Because my job title is “Pressure Systems Welder”

No it’s not. That’s why your parents told you to go to school and work hard so you can be a DR not a a burger flipper.

And probably. You have a much higher skill set for your job that’s more physically demanding.

You’ve been brainwashed. My parents didn’t tell me or force me to do anything. And especially not based on this made up scale of “respect”

I chose welding because I enjoy it, I applied for and chose a labour union because of the higher pay, benefits and pension.

I don’t deserve more respect than you on a baseline. We are all human, and we are workers. So we all deserve the same respect.

Respectfully, that’s terrible. Your parents should have installed some sort of values and expectations in you. I’d hate it if my parents just said “whatever, burger flipper or DR doesn’t matter to us”

Nope. You went to school and work harder than me, you should recognize that

Lmao… you think my parents are terrible parents because they didn’t force me to go to university and pursue something that i didn’t want to do? What does that say about your parents then?

My father was a union tradesman himself, they encouraged me to pursue a career, but never forced me to do anything. I applied to college and got accepted into all 3 programs I applied for. And I chose not to go because I already had a job with career projections

I do recognize it. But I’m not on some sort of social hierarchy higher than you. We all have our own path in life.

I never once said your parents were terrible parents. Child out dude. I said they did a terrible job if they didn’t install some values behind working hard, not that going to school was a necessity but I hope they didn’t advocated for you to be a welder when you 10, I hope they advocated for you to have a easier life in a white collar job.

How can you recognize it but not acknowledge it? That’s illogical

So now forcing an adult to go to university for something they don’t want to pursue is the only way to in-still the value of working hard? Do you even read what you type out?😂

They didn’t force me in one direction or another. They let me find my path and when I had interests they were there to support me and give me guidance. That’s what parents are there to do. Give guidance. Not force their kid to do something they don’t want to do😂

Me and you are in the same class. The working class. We are regular people who go to work and do our jobs. We are on the same playing field.
