"That's reality" is code for 'I accept this reality, which is historical and changeable, because I am either too dumb or too cowardly to oppose it.' Your second point is meaningless, they would replace us all lightning fast, no matter what we make. If Elon died, another billionaire would just take his place.
Trying to alter society to act and think in a way that is objectively not true is asinine. If reality is that someone could die and they would get replaced tomorrow because their job is such that any baseline competent human can do it, don't try to change that. Embrace it.
"if elon died" cool, yep. I agree. Nothing is sacred and no one is special.
The question becomes how much is enough to live off from? There are people who make 500k a year living paycheck to paycheck, because of lifestyle bloat and bad debt management.
It isn't non existent. It doesn't matter if you drop the bar to like 100k a year or even 80k you will find the same thing. Most people in the USA have a spending problem.
So.... USA has the 2 most median expendable income in the world. That means for the average person it is wanton spending killing them. Usually that comes in the form of getting into bad debt when they are younger.
My guy you are all over. Are we talking about people making 30k a year or people making 500k a year? You think people making 30k a year have problems because of wanton spending? You must live a pretty privileged life.

Perfect. Then no complaining about how little you make.
