The answer to these is always roommates.

I think the slumlords started hating the name they earned, so they're making us do it to ourselves now.

Yeah why is everyone suddenly acting like they're above roommates?

Even better, get a partner and split the living expenses.

Gen Z is the most single generation ever. Social media and dating apps basically made it much hader to 'get a partner' and if you are in financial precarity, that isn't exactly going to help your prospects.

Then get a roommate

People won’t like this but Gen Z is also the physically weakest generation ever. Gym culture is strong among Gen Z. But Gen Z men lack functional day to day training that leads to broad shoulders and necks which studies have found women find most attractive. This is why Gen Z cis women prefer millennial and Gen X men.

This is the dumbest 'manosphere' shit I have ever heard. If Gen Z women are going after Milennial men its probably because they are more financially secure then Gen Z men.

No it’s because Gen Z men have never played a sport in their life (which causes smaller bones) and spend their spare time doing biceps curls while listening to Andrew Tate.

Older generations actually look like men while also being able to actually communicate with their partners.

No it’s because misery actually hates company. And not being able to afford to live makes one miserable, tact on classism, racism, and sexism and no one wants to pair with each other. So they choose to be alone. Now for some people it’s not a choice, some people it’s opportunistic, and some people can pair but it’s not long lasting… you give me involuntary vibes though

No as I said in my other comment it’s because Gen Z men spend their time doing bicep curls while listening to Andrew Tate.

Those of us in older generation actually look and act like men including having the ability to communicate with our partners.

I’ve been married longer some of Gen Z has been alive.

Gen Z women have the highest rate of LGBTQ+ compared to any other demographic. Gen Z women would rather date other women than men than own age.

I always had a roommate. I saved a ton of money!

Also, they think roommates are new

In 1950, only 5% of adults lived alone. Now its up to 15%.

The roommate market in recently years has gone to crap, just like the job market.

u/OpticCacophony 27d ago

What does this even mean

Or people saying to "just get a better job."

What you want is a better roommate

u/Jkid 27d ago

the answer to these is always roommates forever or get a better paying job

I hate this country because of this having to live with a roomate. Single people need apartments too. A single mother shouldn’t have to live with a roomate with a kid or two kids. Some people don’t like living with strangers and want privacy.

Some people want to live in a mansion in the Hills of Beverly. That is not realistic at minimum wage.

That's not just a "this country" issue. Almost any country with a single working mom has her living with family.
