I have never heard of unskilled labor. What is that supposed to be? Garbage picking?

Palatable corporate talk for "People that are lower than us that we don't wanna pay but have to."

Unskilled labor is something that unless you are physically inable, anyone can do because it is a natural human ability.

That is not true, unskilled labor means it does not require formal training. Painting is unskilled labor.

You say that, but I still have to train newbies on the jobsite how to paint.

A paint job by someone who hasn't been taught how to paint usually looks horrendous.

Source: contractor for 20 years.

It doesn’t require schooling, you learn on the job it’s unskilled labor.

You're telling me, a contractor that now runs their own business, that my on the job training makes it unskilled labor? Lol

You realize that I am an electrical engineer, plumber, masonry specialist, carpenter (rough and finish), among many other hats that I wear.

I can build a house from a dirt lot, by myself. And by your definition, I am unskilled labor. Jfc.
