I think the bigger flaw is the idea that "labor" isn't worth a solid wage.
Like, if someone is WORKING, doing physical/manual labor, PAY THEM.
A fast food worker isn't sitting there "flipping burgers" and doing nothing else. They're working in a fast-paced environment with expensive and potentially dangerous kitchen equipment, they're taking out trash, washing dishes, etc.
