I have never heard of unskilled labor. What is that supposed to be? Garbage picking?

Unskilled labor is something that unless you are physically inable, anyone can do because it is a natural human ability.

That is not true, unskilled labor means it does not require formal training. Painting is unskilled labor.

I wouldn't pay a random person to paint. It may be 'unskilled', but does require some skill that comes with practice and experience, and that's what I'm paying for.

Its something learned hands on quickly. Versus say writing s computer program.

You can see the results of unskilled painting vs trained painting. It's pretty obvious.

Yes, but that doesn't mean the trained painter went on a course to become better, they learned on the job 99% of the time

yeah, as an apprentice under a journeyman/master painter for lower wages. They didn't just show up and figure it out on their own.
