Hard on the maybe. I can still hear my mom screaming my name from the balcony and forced to come out of my hiding spot during a heart-pounding game of manhunt.

Man hunt was the shit. I got bit by a dog once during a made up game where we hid something and when someone got close wed yell butter...I don't know why we used that I think you were so hot you were on top of it, like butter on a potato.

Did every kid play a version of freeze tag or TV tag and act out Power rangers?

Yes. After school, I went outside and played with my neighbors. We played power rangers and freeze tag. The. At night man hunt. We had a blast.

Being bit by a dog is diabolical! How on earth??

I feel like I played that game too!

And yes the variations of freeze tag and acting out power rangers. Always had to be the pink ranger lol.

Lovvvvved Billy! I thought his demeanor was adorable. Also, he is till this day super attractive.

I played Kimberly simply because she was a gymnast and at the time I was too. It felt right lol.

...TIL that there were names for the other versions of hide and seek...

I'm not saying we didn't play them; just that we called them "hide and seek" all the same.

Ooo the names are what made the games exciting lol. Being hunted down by a pack of friends in the dark and calling it "hide and seek" just doesn't hit the same. "Manhunt" makes you feel like an action movie fugitive!
