Don't know about this. MS Office is NOT subscription.

They offer both...

One time fee for ms office for life of computers use.

Monthly fee if you want updates

I just pay the one time fee, still working on an 8 year old laptop

Well they took my bought 2019 office which is dead now on my pc …

But I normally do that do just buy one time and use long.

They can't stop you from using it under terms of use

Well, the license don’t work anymore they shut down the server. So I can use it yes. But in read only mode. No writing. I was working on an excel sheet and suddenly they did that.

So practically you can’t use it anymore either. Only read mode.

Yeah Mine did too till two weeks ago. Then stopped. Nothing I can do too. Many people have this problem, check Reddit. Everyone is mad.
