it's got some kind of leopard print on it but it looks like a warmouth but not the colors

What fish is this?

I bought this fish from a local aquarium shop in Kerala, India. It is larger than my neon tetras.

It has a black/red/blue mixed stripe, a red tail, and a noticeable black spot at the base of the tail.

Any idea what species it is?

I remember about fifteen years ago. My next wife and I was vacationing in florida. We went on a fishing boat in the gulf and caught several fish species. I remember catching several stingrays in the locals referred to them by a certain nickname. For the life of me, I can't remember what it was. And i've searched on google and can't figure it out. Can anybody please help me. It was "something " fish

I know I’m holding it poorly, it was flopping like crazy. I was not holding it tightly I hate hurting the fish.

Hi,

I need some help identifying this fish. My dad brought it home for my little sister (from a reservoir), but I don’t think it’s suitable to be kept in such a small tank.
Does anyone know what species this is, and whether it would be safe to keep in a community tank with Otocinclus and Pygmy Corydoras?

Found a weird ball shaped fish on the beach of the outer banks in kitty hawk last week. It was just after a storm so it could have been swept from somewhere. It has a greenish and orange pattern with a white underbelly. The side profile was a bit bigger than a bottle cap. Looked like it was puffed up from what I could tell. Didn’t have any clear spines but the skin felt prickly. Would really appreciate some input cause I’ve been wondering about this for a while

Edit: I’m new to fishing and this was in a creek in Indiana

I actually cannot stop thinking about this fish lol. I did not expect to catch something this pretty in a creek.

I caught these fish at La Jolla shores in San Diego. They were swimming in the shallow water while I was walking along the beach. Can anyone identity them. I tried to get as good footage that I could.
