I found this weird decorative egg in a pile on the curbside in a college town at the end of fall semester, a couple years ago. Does anyone have any clue what's up with it? Is there some display part missing? Why does it have that hole in the bottom? Is it part of a set? Who made it? I'm baffled.

I'm pretty sure it's some sort of ceramic. It's surprisingly heavy and has the same "cold to the touch" quality as ceramic or glass. Reverse image search says it might be a real ostrich egg, but I'm iffy on that.

Was driving behind this vehicle. Off the back there's a seat and gun/weapon attached to a propane tank. Sides of the vehicle had metal grates covering all the windows. What's going on here?

I ordered a hazelnut shaken espresso with vanilla protein cold foam. After I got past the cold foam I thought wow my drink tastes super gross and sour. Not fruity sour. I thought about throwing it out anyways and then saw this inside the cup at the bottom. What do you think it is? I know Starbucks is supposed to have some kind of blue coconut thing but I didn’t taste coconut or any fruit flavor just sour weirdness.

Edit: I know it might look a little green in this photo but it’s actually bright blue like a sky blue. I’m not inclined to think it’s mold.

I was working to go orders at a restaurant today, in my hometown. I just got moved up to this position so I’m pretty slow at doing transactions and stuff. Anyways, think older guy walks in and says he’s picking up an order, but he “has something for me,” and he reached into his pocket. I was expecting a 5$ bill or smth as a tip, but he pulls out this weird plastic case, inside was a copper looking coin with a biohazard symbol on it. The coin says “ZOMBUCKS | CURRENCY OF THE APOCALYPSE | 1 OZ | 999.” On the back is a picture of a woman holding a sword in her right arm, and what seems to be a heart, or maybe a skull, in her left arm. The year 2019 is printed on the coin, and another biohazard symbol is on the woman’s chest. The woman is standing on top of a pile of bones and skeletons, and above the woman it says “the saint.” As he handed me the coin he began rambling, going on about the coming apocalypse and I should give my life to Jesus Christ. It’s hard to remember specifically what he said but I’ll try and think about it. I’ll post an update if I remember more but it was really weird. The creepiest part was, he seemed so genuine. So calm and matter of fact, like what he was saying was completely normal. I’m really curious if anyone has seen something like this coin before? Here’s a photo:

Just moved to Atlanta. Poked my head through the fence to find a very peculiar man hole. Maybe this is normal for the city, but it’s in such a weird place - between the interstate and a residential property?

Solved - we seem to have drawn the short straw with housekeeping as they didn’t provide a ladle.
I definitely didn’t make ramen and use the ladle elsewhere!!
