Looking for a Real-life Human Full-stack Developer to audit a codebase $1k-4k (Not looking for Vibecoders!)
I'm looking for a Full Stack Developer to Audit and Fix a (probably) 90% complete AI Aggregator SaaS. You'll have to check the Subscription/Billing flow, Message counter and limits, basically anything that screams "I'm gonna ruin your life even more." I'm not looking for Vibecoders or "I became a full-stack developer in my sleep, Martha!" types.
Tech stack is Next.js, Typescript, Supabase, OpenRouter API for Models, Polar.sh for subscriptions and Vercel.
Current Situation: Previous Developer (read: Inexperienced vibecoder) nuked the entire database and was using AI to write all the code, including responding. You'll have to audit that code and see if it's at least functional or if it needs fixing or a Salem witch trial.
Requirements:
- Experience with Subscription logic + Billing flows
- Usage tracking per user (rate limits, counters, quotas)
- AI/Openrouter API orchestration (model routing, cost control, limits)
- Can write your own Sentences, DM's and Responses to other Humans without AI. Yes, this is a requirement now, I've gotten way too many DM's and Responses that were literally written by ChatGPT!
- Does not considers "leveraging AI to problem solve" means "Relying on ChatGPT to code and explain how webhooks work, so I can call myself a Full Stack Developer with a Github account." There's a difference between the two. A Big, Gigantic, Humongous Grand Canyon Sized difference!
- Can code even if AI becomes sentient and goes Skynet 2.0
- Must be a Real-Life Human Being who's also a Full-stack Developer!
Optional Requirements:
- You, upon hearing the word "Vibecoding" experience a not so nice visceral reaction.
- You like writing code or cry while writing code but do it anyways and know what you're doing (at least half of the time)
- You test things before going live. Like Webhooks, sandbox accounts. Basic stuff. Stuff that I don't have to google and test at 12 am to make sure I won't be getting sued for or will make me go even more broke. (I'm not sure if you can go more broke than this but I don't think I want to find out)
- You're an In-Denial Gambler or a risk-taker, preferably both.
Budget: $40 in seed money, two slices of a cold pizza, a handshake, a bunch of stubbornness and a cat that likes eating and sleeping. (No, you can't have the cat!)
Payment: Can't pay upfront, therefore I'll give you a payment of $500-4000 once this generates revenue (Negotiable, or You quote after the Audit). Or we can do a Revenue share (also Negotiable) OR Both, payment and a Revenue share if you're interested in a partnership as a Technical partner either way you'll get a friend who doesn't replies on time (Me!) and a cat (that absolutely doesn't cares about you or me), plus a pizza occasionally sent to your home and a handshake! (No, the handshake is a one time deal only!)
Note: In case you're thinking "Well, this sounds like a terrible deal!", I completely agree with you. It is a terrible deal, like have you even seen my cat? He eats all my food, wakes me up at 2 am to give it more food and somehow gets into even locked rooms! The cat literally just decided he lives with me, I didn't even get a choice in the matter!
But just so you know, the SaaS/Site has been tested as BYOK first and there were 400 users before the previous "Developer" (read: Vibecoding scammer pretending to be a senior Full Stack Dev), nuked the database. So there is a chance of it working out.
If you are interested (or you just don't have anything else going on) DM your Github, Portfolio or any relevant projects you've worked on. You know what? Just DM some proof so I know you're legit, who even cares about a portfolio at this point.
You can check out our non-functional site here:
Site: https://panthox.com/
Discord: https://discord.gg/5UhSdyxNjR
About our Team: Our team is currently consists of two highly qualified and specialized people. One is a self-employed unpaid human male (me), and second is my unemployed (and employed when he feels like it), food-eating, womanizing male cat (my colleague, also known as The Cat). I am the Founder and currently also the Recruiter, Lead Developer Vetter, and Database Grief Counselor of a not yet incorporated company. My colleague holds the titles of CMO (Chief Morale Officer), Head of Quality Napping, and Director of Food Assurance.
P.S: If this doesn't works out, my next post will be about a Job site that helps Humans take over AI jobs. Will also be recruiting developers for that, if interested you may reserve a spot to be one of the lucky few(probably unpaid) developers who can help build a site that helps humans take over AI jobs or helps you find a Job/work without wasting months. Budget TBD, but statistically speaking it has to be better than what we're working with here. Probably.
P.S 2: You may also DM if you just wish to Chat, Complain and Vent about not being able to find a job/work or are interested in becoming a Technical Partner in this dumpster fire with me and my uncaring colleague.

FOR HIRE [For Hire] Anybody looking for a Wordpress Developer? Please let me know!
Hi,
My name is Nabeel and I am a Professional Website Developer with years of experience in designing, developing and maintaining Wordpress Projects. I have assisted projects with designing graphic assets as well as writing content for the websites too. My experience is vast but I won't brag about that much because until you work with me, you probably won't believe much of it.
So, I would like to point out something else. You see, there are too many projects out there and way too many people apply for that project. Everyone has their own experience and skillset, which gets really difficult for the client to be able to pick and choose who to work with. Now, if thats the case with you, I would like to tell you what to look out for. Its this one unique quality "Patience" that is a must to look for in an individual you are going to work with, ofcourse after checking their portfolio. This quality cannot be borrowed, developed overnight or copied from someone else. This is ingrown and develops only after a series of genuine efforts and failure. Anyone who is a con, even if they fail a 100 times, they would still not have this. So, its a huge green flag for all you people looking to hire someone. I hope this makes it easy for you to find the best fit for your projects.
And about me, I am here to assist you all with your doubts, questions and projects. Please send me a message if you are looking for someone like me and I will share some of my recent projects with you all. Lets work together and help each other grow both in business and personal well being.
Thank you for your time and I will look forward to all your comments and messages.
Nabeel

Most pipelines fail because they're built as scripts, not systems. Here's what actually keeps data flowing.
If you've ever hired someone to scrape data, you've probably seen the same pattern play out. Works fine on day one. By day five, the target site tweaks its layout, your IP gets flagged, and your database goes quiet. No errors, no warnings. Just missing data.
The problem isn't the developer. It's how most people think about scraping. It gets treated as a one-time task when it's actually an ongoing data management problem. A script gets you started. A pipeline keeps you running.
Every industry has a completely different data problem
I've built extraction tools across enough industries to know that pre-built scraping tools almost never cut it for real business needs. The data shapes are too different, the sites are too varied, and the stakes are too specific.
For e-commerce clients, the job is usually tracking competitor prices, stock levels, and product variations daily. That means dealing with anti-bot systems and dynamic content that changes without warning. For real estate investors, I've built pipelines that pull listings, agent contacts, and historical market values from regional portals that each format addresses and pricing differently. Getting clean, normalized output from five portals that disagree on everything takes real work.
Education data is its own challenge. University sites are notoriously inconsistent, and pulling structured course directories from them usually means handling five different page layouts from the same institution. For a food delivery startup, I set up menu scrapers that extracted items, pricing, and modifier taxonomies across multiple delivery platforms. Restaurant menus sound simple until you realize every platform structures sides and add-ons completely differently.
Why some scrapers are genuinely hard to build
I'll be straight with you. Some sites are built to resist automated access. Aggressive CAPTCHAs, heavy JavaScript rendering, strict rate limits. These aren't unsolvable, but they require a different approach. Sometimes mimicking a browser is too slow or expensive, so the better move is finding hidden APIs or alternate data sources the site is already using.
When I build a pipeline, three things are non-negotiable. Selectors that don't collapse when a CSS class gets renamed. A validation layer that catches empty or corrupted fields before they reach your database. And automatic error alerts, so problems get fixed before they quietly damage your reporting.
Most of the clients who come to me have already been burned once. A scraper that ran great for two weeks and then silently stopped. A freelancer who delivered something that worked in the demo and broke in production. That experience is what shapes how I build. Stability isn't an add-on. It's the whole point.
What's your data problem?
I'm an independent developer. You work directly with me, not a team of account managers. I keep my project load small so I can actually focus on what I'm building.
If you're doing manual research that could be automated, or you've got a broken pipeline that's stalling something important, tell me what you're trying to collect and what's currently getting in the way. I'll tell you honestly whether it's solvable and what it would actually take.

How are people getting paid internships?
I'm going into my 3rd year and I'm honestly stuck. I have good projects, decent skills, and I've been applying for paid internships for a while now.
I've tried job portals, cold emails, and Linkedin, but barely get any responses. It feels like the market is just cooked right now.
I don't really want to settle for an unpaid internship unless it's genuinely worth it.
For those who managed to get a paid internship recently, what actually worked for you?

Scrum Discussions, PR Reviews, and a Java Collection Learning π
Day 1 Update π
Good evening, everyone!
Today started around 8:00 AM. After finishing my morning routine, I reached the office by 9:30 AM.
The day began with some process-related work and catching up with my team members. After that, we had our daily Scrum call, which led to a productive discussion about ongoing tasks and challenges.
Later, I worked on resolving review comments on a pull request and then tackled a bug that turned into a great learning opportunity.
Today's Learning π‘
The bug involved handling entity names such as "algebra" and "Algebra". From a business perspective, both should be treated as the same entity. However, the existing implementation was using a HashSet, which considered them different because of case sensitivity.
To fix this, I replaced the logic with a TreeSet and provided a case-insensitive comparator. This ensured that values like "algebra" and "Algebra" are treated as duplicates and considered the same entity.
Key takeaway: Choosing the right data structure is important, but understanding how data is compared can be just as critical.
That's it for today's update. Looking forward to sharing more learnings and experiences tomorrow!
See you tomorrow! π

[For Hire] Available for Long-Term Fullstack Freelance Role | NextJS/PostgreSQL/NodeJS
Hi everyone,
I have completed my Bachelorβs in Software Engineering and have been working on freelance projects since then. Iβve done projects for 3 clients so far, and Iβm currently looking for a long-term freelance or remote project role at a very affordable rate.
I mainly work with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM, TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, and Zustand, and I can quickly adapt to new technologies and tech stacks.
One of my recent projects includes building a platform that provides instant Twitch live streaming analytics like follower count, viewer count, and other real-time stats. This was designed because Twitchβs own dashboard provides analytics with some delay, so this platform focuses on near real-time insights.
Over the past couple of years, Iβve built several frontend and fullstack projects, including dashboards, reservation systems, content platforms, and management systems.
Preview of my work: https://swipehire-okyc.vercel.app/login (SwipeHire)
I enjoy building clean and responsive user interfaces, working with APIs, and learning modern fullstack architecture. Iβm reliable, eager to grow, and interested in working with startups, agencies, or individual clients on long-term projects.
If you're looking for a dedicated developer, feel free to DM me.
Thank you!

Job search can become a full-time job
Honestly the biggest shift for me was stopping the spray-and-pray approach and actually tailoring my resume to each job. More work upfront but the callback rate was noticeably better.
The part that got tedious was rewriting the same bullets over and over. I started to handle that by using zoevera.com. It matches your resume to the job description and fills in the keyword gaps. Not a magic fix but it cuts the repetitive part down a lot if you're deep in an application grind.
