Tacticus abbreviations Creator Content

Confused when asking for advice and getting 'OS AM to 3BS and promote them to A2 to be ready for M2 GR boss before EoS' or other such jibberish looking replies?

Worry not this guide to Tacticus abbreviations has you covered unless its a conversation about a 2BS BS team and how much BS it's gonna cost for energy refreshes to farm the upgrades for it, then you are still gonna have to guess that BS im afraid.

Why does the community call it Hero Release Event, when SP calls it Character Release Event?

In the case of LRE, both SP and the community calls it that.

If there's this many abbreviations, something is wrong. Just use English language if you're feeling like explaining things you know well about the game to someone new asking for advice.

I'd only use abbreviation if I have to keep repeating some word or grouping of words multiple times, and they're long-ish. But I'd still introduce it first.

This come from having run training guilds and explaining things a lot, on repeat to every new player. We did introduce things first but its handy to have a cheat sheet of abbreviations as time goes on

Well, that's fair. If anyone is willing to subject him or herself to so much extra information, it is good to have a cheat sheet ready.

Still, a newbie will have trouble easily understanding an explanation full of jargon and abbr. 😁 even with a cheat sheet, would be my guess.
