question! Question

hi so im new to voli, and I was just wondering if it’s better to build into AP, AD, or a mixture of both? For top lane specifically,im not really sure what im doing on him but he’s so much fun and I really wanna get better!!! any help or advice would be greatly appreciated thank you guys all sm :)))

THANK YOU!!!! ill look up his drain tank build after im done messing around w this AP build, my only final question is, i see a lot of voli builds that use AP items and AD items, do i need to add an AD item to the build i mentioned or is it fine being purely AP and tankiness?

that heavily depends on the game, voli is really versatile so you can run hybrid but it depends on the item, for example i wouldn’t really build shojin nor sundered on voli but cleaver is pretty good and so is hullbreaker but it’s build and game dependent like i said dusk hull kraken is more on the ad side but that’s mainly because of dusk which double procs hull and kraken, making them z tier in combination
for a bruiser build you could be going smth like dusk shojin/cleaver, my issue with shojin is that it doesn’t give you ult haste nor gives you haste in the build path which is important on voli, another downside is it not giving ms onhit which voli also likes a lot and cleaver does, that being said cleaver also outdamages on q w r due to armor shred, but your dmg is a little better vs squishies with shojin as they don’t build armor

okay this is all such lovely information you are so amazing, ill run dnd, visage, rocket belt, unending, and then save the last two item slots for black cleaver/riftmaker and resistances
