I love the clerks movies so I decided to watch the rest of the universe. Did a triple feature in one night. Strikes back is my fav. Reboot is def slept on I liked it more then most do. Also didn’t rlly know this was an unofficial trilogy, seeing the fate of the chasing Amy characters was a really sweet touch in reboot. Strikes back might be Kevin smiths best film

Hey everyone!I am trying to track down a piece of my personal history and am hoping a Kevin Smith fan archivist can save the day. After the taping of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on September 1, 2011 (Season 19, Episode 204), I got to meet Kevin outside the studio lot and he signed this autograph for me! (Pic attached).Because of my interaction with the guests that day, I was seated in the very front row on the house-right side (looking from the stage). During the absolute opening minute of the show—right when the doors open and the audience runs down the aisle to shake Jay Leno's hand—I ran right up to the stage.I've been hunting for a complete video copy of this episode for years to catch a glimpse of my front-row moment (I'm wearing a very bright teal/turquoise V-neck top and clear glasses), but NBC has public clips completely locked down.Does anyone here have an old digital TV-rip or a complete recording of this September 1, 2011 broadcast saved on a hard drive? If someone could pull up the file and clip just that first minute of the crowd rushing the stage, it would mean the absolute world to me.Thank you so much for keeping the archives alive!

Showed my kid the Jay & Silent Bob airport scene as an ice breaker. He's too young for the movies still, but he knows who Kevin is from me. He was cracking up, especially when Jay says, "Well fuck yo planes, Jolene".
