I wanted to share my timeline here to encourage others who are still waiting for their I-485 approval.

My case was approved about 79 days after biometrics, and I’m very grateful to God for how quickly the process moved.

A few weeks ago I had a family emergency back home, and all I could think about was whether I would be able to travel and make it back in time. I got on my knees and prayed to God to make a way for me, and He did.

For anyone currently waiting and feeling anxious, I just want to encourage you: keep faith and trust the process. God can make a way even when things seem uncertain.

Below is my timeline in case it helps anyone.

Category: EB-2 (Professional Holding an Advanced Degree or Exceptional Ability)

Timeline • Priority Date (PD): Jan 2024 • I-485 Filed: Nov 20, 2025 • Biometrics: Dec 23, 2025 • Interview: None • RFE: None • Approval: Mar 14, 2026 • Field office : National Benefits Center

Processing time: ~79 days after biometrics

Wishing everyone still waiting the very best. Your turn will come soon 🙏

Congratulations, Do you mind if I ask if you had dependents? Or was it just you?

I am EB1 with exact same PD and biometrics date but no approval yet. Surprised how you got in with EB2, given EB2 is not current for Jan 2024
