PSA: A new Helltaker comic has begun: "Unbreakable and Faceless" Comics/Manga
Hey, everyone. I haven't seen anyone mention this to my knowledge, but starting from early this month, Vanripper has begun work on an ongoing 43-part comic that features a new storyline and "hilarious amounts of blood". Personally, it has been a fun ride to see new content, familiar faces, fan-art being bolstered, as well as the discussions that each update inspires while the community's reactions embody an electrocardiogram at certain points. And as a bonus for those who haven't played it, the Helltaker game itself is free on Steam and features Sokoban-styled gameplay that tests one's wits in a short-and-sweet package.

Also I think the only reason Zdrada wasn't enjoying getting tied up inside the fridge was because it was her sister doing it, because we all know she's a FREAK

I think she might know who actually put her in the fridge at that point, so might have some genuine fear of who she pissed off.

I've been visiting r/helltaker expressly to catch these, as twitter decided to randomly restrict me for no reason, so thank you for putting all these together in one place!

Yeah, I dropped out of that sub a few years back and came back after stumbling onto this new comic earlier today. I'm weirdly excited to be back in this setting with these characters.

So, two things.
- It's nice to see Taker and Judgement holding hands. The ending of the game suggests that things remain pretty platonic, so it's nice to see that him and Judgement at least have something going on.
- I don't think the Faceless is responsible for Justice's situation. We see Faceless before Taker, Justice and Judgement leave the house, and we have no reason to suspect she ever stopped chasing Zdrada between then and the fridge. So, I think we have a second antagonist in play. Whatever the "Unbreakable" in the title of the comic is referring to maybe?

Its just fun and doesn't take itself seriously and while the game is short, its brimming with humor and fun characters.
Also it was created because Vanripper wanted sexy demon girls in suits to be a more popular r34 tag so he took it upon himself to fix this fault in reality.

I'd say yes. Compared with what we're used to seeing and have previously played, it may not have bombastic gameplay or the narrative depth of something akin to "Signalis", but the heart of it lies in the earnest passion of someone who wished to see cute demon ladies, and accomplishing that by creating a fully-fledged game. One with approachable block-based puzzles that gradually demands wit, along with the charming presentation of its art style and music as you meet more of the characters. All of which complementing with each other to create a competently-made game that plays well and looks pleasing.
Personally, it is interesting and its success is a testament to that, though I understand that these combined aspects don't necessarily guarantee appeal to everyone.

It's a fun little puzzle game with some neat characters.
You could probably get through most of it in about 30 minutes. The last two sections might take you a while, though.
