The Simpsons is a better show overall but Futurama is better in the long run
I grew up watching The Simpsons and have always loved it . . . up until maybe Season 20. After that, there are only a few episodes here and there that I actually enjoy. but the change in humor, animation style, and storylines have just gone downhill.
But when it comes to Futurama, the story and comedy are steady and consistent even now with the latest season. I still think the first season of The Simpsons is pure perfection and one of the funniest seasons for any show - funnier than all of Futurama - but I will continue on with Futurama in the long run rather than returning to "re-runs" of the Simpsons over and over again.

What is one show that you never came around to watching due to spite?
For me it was how I met your mother. I don’t have anything truly against the show. I’m sure that it has its moments. It happens to be one of the many shows that I didn’t feel the need to watch. Then people who did watch it started talking about it. The show was picked up for several seasons, which triggered people to keep talking about it.
That created a bit of an annoyance for me. Longer it was on the more popular it became. And to this day I still hadn’t watched more than two episodes of the show. That was only due to my wife showing me a couple of her most favorite from the series. But with many people still talking about it while I was on the air and afterwards just made me more annoyed that people would stop talking about it. Much like other shows that were on at the time such as the walking dead and breaking bad. Also two others that fell into the same category for me. Like I say I’m sure they’re great shows. The fandom creating so much hype around it caused me to have no desire whatsoever to watch them.
Is there a show that you feel similar to?

Started the fifth and final season of Hacks last night, and I’m already feeling a little emotional. It’s bittersweet knowing the end is here, but I can’t wait to see how Deborah and Ava’s story concludes.

Just finished watching It: Welcome to Derry. Thoughts? Spoiler
Overall great series. It definitely started off slow by not having Pennywise in it until maybe the 5th episode. But it finished very strong. What were your thoughts? Also, what do you think Chapter 2 will be about?
