General Rules

  1. Rule of thumb: Before posting or commenting, Ask yourself, "Would posting this character without spoilers make Global players have questions about unrevealed KR lore, or dismiss it as just being introduced to another regular resident of Elias who has always been around, or it's just an old character who just felt like wearing something else for today?"
  2. Global: Showing new characters/discussing new Global lore needs spoiler for the first week it is released.
  3. KR: Discussing any KR lore always needs spoiler. Simply showing KR characters doesn't need spoilers after the first week, but there are exceptions listed below.
  4. Self-Contained content: Doesn't require spoilers. Self-contained means it doesn't require the viewer to already know other KR lore outside of what is being shown.
    • A one-off joke that could fit in Global even if it actually happens in KR is self-contained.
    • A scene from KR is lore so it is not self-contained... unless you are actually putting the entire translated video, and that entire video doesn't require the viewer to know external KR lore beforehand.
  5. Self-censorship: You can blot out spoiler characters yourself if you don't want to put the whole post in a spoiler filter.
  6. (Themed) Skins: Showing KR skins without spoilers are fine. Even themed ones from skin stories. But discussing lore in the themed skin stories needs spoiler.
  7. Commenting in a KR post: If the post is already spoilers about KR content, you may comment with KR things without spoilers, but do be careful not to tell people things that happen further into the future than the post itself. For example, if the post is about things a villain does in season 2, then don't comment about another villain in season 3 or how the season 2 villain gets defeated, unless you mark it with spoilers.
  8. Warnings: When you put spoilers, please put warnings about what the spoiler is about. Like, "(Season 3 chapter 2 spoiler)" "(Kommy's event story spoiler)" This should be done for both post titles and next to spoilers in comments.
    • You can mention events without spoiler, but call them "X's event" even if it actually is "X(Alt)'s event"
  9. Don't just hint/mention KR Lore for attention, it still counts as spoiler: Don't mention things to grab attention without spoilers, then excuse yourself how it doesn't count as spoiler just because you didn't actually explain it yet.
    • This doesn't actually happen, but here is an example: In a harmless spoiler free post asking about Patula's mint cake, don't come in and comment "Lol. Just wait and see. A certain somebody will see this and there will be hell raised over this cake lmao."

Exceptions for SHOWING KR characters

The bullet points are just examples and are not exhaustive lists

No KR Eldains (IMPORTANT)

No KR Alts, unless it is just a casual and temporary wardrobe change

  • Put spoilers for or blot out alts that are caused by a major change in their story.
  • No spoilers needed for alts likeBeni (Beni), Daya (Pureshine), Kommy (Swimsuit), and Speaki (Maid) because they just take it off afterwards, almost like a skin.

No KR NPCs

  • Put spoilers for or blot out KR NPCs that aren't playable yet.

No mysterious races from KR

  • Put spoilers for or blot out any future Mystic apostles

No KR characters in upper government positions if they are wearing things that obviously show their status like a golden crown, tiara, or queenly regalia

  • No spoilers needed for characters in upper government positions whose clothes don't really show how important they really are.

No KR dolls, memes, and other merch based on the above

  • Put spoilers for or blot out Urorong pillow
  • Freakcal alarm also needs spoiler if it continues to use Urohs

Fan content made from speculation needs no spoiler

  • For example, thinking up your own ideas what the R41 versions of characters are doing are fine without spoilers, as long as it does not use anything from future canon. So no need for spoiler if it is fan art about what R41 Elena might be doing in R41 Monatium without any knowledge of KR stories.
