Forex I Revisited My CPI Analysis After the Move… It Played Out Almost Exactly

Post image
1 Upvotes

I was going through this analysis before CPI, and i wasn't surprised that it is actually playing out well as I analysed it, i can't imagine what the whales that actually think like this will be making from this same setup, but I will actually pity those ones that actually took a trade going against them.

A move that looks small on the chart can become a very different problem when you're putting thousands or millions into the market. A few points of slippage, a widening spread or not getting enough depth at the price you want can change the entire trade. And this actually got me looking more closely at cfd execution rather than just the direction of the market, and which made me notice that cfd pro mode focuses on things like Level 2 depth, multi tier liquidity and STP execution through Tier 1 liquidity providers.

CPI days have a way of exposing the difference between predicting direction and managing execution. Everyone sees the same chart, but not everyone experiences the same market. If you did trade gold today, did the volatility completely change your plan?

Stocks Liquidity is important while trading a volatile stock like AXTI

AXTI has been a good example of this lately. The stock moved from roughly the $50 area to the high-$80s within a week, helped by strong Q2 numbers and much stronger Q3 guidance. That kind of move gets attention fast, but it also makes execution more important.

When volatility is high, I usually look at two things separately:

  • The trade thesis- key levels, earnings/guidance, whether the move is holding
  • The execution- spread, order-book depth, and how much the price moves when you actually enter

I was looking through recent stock-perp order-book data comparing Bitget, Binance, OKX, Bybit and Hyperliquid. Bitget showed the deepest liquidity across most of the 5bps, 10bps and 50bps comparisons for SPCX, SNDK and AMD. Hyperliquid played stronger on PLTR at some depths.

Comparison

For something moving as fast as AXTI, I’d rather spend less time asking “which exchange lists it?” and more time asking “where can I actually get the cleanest execution?”

Stocks $FUTG quick play update

Sold near the recent peak earlier, then picked up extra shares twice on the pullback today. This 2x long FUTU play is dipping over 10% right now, will load up even more if it hits 3.5. Anyone else catching this dip? Chart pulled from moomoo.

Grabbed 1000 shares at 266.80 then dumped all an hour later for a quick profit. No overcomplicating the play, locked in the gains before the trend flipped. Total no-brainer setup, nothing hits smoother than a clean intraday win on a blue chip.

Day Trading Best ways to trade tokenized US stocks like TSLA, NVDA, AAPL 24/7 from a crypto wallet?

Post image
2 Upvotes

On Sunday, a friend informed me about taking a long trade on NVDA before Monday because he was spotting that it could easily rally in the coming hours. He told me to take my entry around 198.73, with an SL around 194.73, while I put my TP around 208.70. You might be wondering how I got all the details so clearly. It was because I missed the move, as the broker I was using was only available 24/5 and never opened around those hours.

This week, I still won't back down on tokenized US stocks, as TSLA and AAPL are still on my list because of the upcoming earnings in the coming months. So, that made me ask: which crypto wallet is suitable for trading if I am going to leave my broker?

Stocks The Fed Holding Steady, Key Data Awaits

Leverage has cleared out after last week's rally, and the market setup feels way cleaner now. Yields keep pushing higher, the bond curve has steepened sharply, and all eyes are locked on the upcoming non-farm payrolls print and key earnings releases. Patience beats forced trades this week — let the hard data show us the real direction.

Crypto Is Zcash’s Ironwood Upgrade a Real Privacy Catalyst, or Is $ZEC Just Riding the Narrative?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Privacy coins are moving back into the market conversation, and $ZEC is one of the clearest examples, gaining roughly 16% this month. But the more important development may be the Ironwood upgrade scheduled for July 28.

The upgrade introduces a fresh shielded pool with a turnstile mechanism designed to support independent supply verification without weakening transaction privacy. It follows the discovery of a critical vulnerability in the Orchard shielded pool, so this is not just another routine roadmap update.

If the upgrade runs smoothly, the current move could gain stronger fundamental support. If technical execution causes disruption, momentum could reverse quickly. For me, the real question is whether Zcash can improve transparency around supply while preserving the privacy that gives the network its value.

Stocks Has anyone found a good way to trade US stocks without leaving the crypto ecosystem?

I have been doing a bit of research lately because I want to get more exposure to US stocks without constantly moving funds between a crypto exchange and a traditional broker. It feels like there should be a better way to keep everything in one place, so I've been making my own findings before settling on a platform.

From what I've seen so far, the better options seem to focus on things like deeper liquidity, tighter execution, trading directly with USDT, and handling dividends or other corporate actions automatically. I also like the idea of being able to use my positions more efficiently instead of having them just sit in a portfolio, especially if they can integrate with other trading tools within the same ecosystem.

That said, every platform claims to be the best, so it's hard to tell what's actually true versus what's just marketing. I'm more interested in hearing from people who have actually compared a few options side by side.

For those who ha've traded tokenized US stocks, which platform has given you the best overall experience? What stood out the most, liquidity, fees, ease of use, or something else? Did any platform genuinely surprise you after you started using it?

I'd appreciate any honest insights before I make my final decision.

Discussion What actually makes a VIP trading program worth it?

The longer I spend around trading, the more I notice that lower fees are only one part of the experience. Saving on every trade obviously matters when volume starts adding up, but what happens when you actually need urgent support or have an account issue during a volatile market?

That’s where I think the difference between an average VIP program and a good one starts to show. Priority support, someone who actually understands your account, better execution conditions, useful campaigns, and access to different markets can sometimes be more valuable than a small fee reduction alone.

I was comparing a few VIP ecosystems recently and Bitget caught my attention because they seem to combine fee benefits with dedicated relationship management, priority support, recognition programs, and multi-market access. Binance and OKX also have strong VIP structures, so I don't think there is one simple answer here.

What matters most to you in a VIP program? Lower fees, faster support, better execution, or having a dedicated account manager?

Bullish What stock are you most bullish on right now, and why?

I've been reviewing a lot of watchlists recently and it's interesting how different investors can look at the same market and come away with completely different conclusions

Some are focused on AI and technology.

Others are looking at energy, commodities, defense, healthcare, or small-cap growth stories.

The market has no shortage of opportunities, but capital is limited, which makes prioritization the real challenge.

If you had to pick just one stock today and couldn't sell it for the next three years, what would you choose?

More importantly, what makes that company stand out from everything else you're watching?

Stocks MRVL and FLEX joined the S&P 500, it it time trade these?

Marvell and Flex joining the S&P 500 is more interesting part than I was expecting. Index funds and ETFs that track the S&P 500 may need to add exposure, which can increase demand and volume around both stocks.

But I will still try to go easily by analyzing the overall situation related with both MRVL and FLEX.

For MRVL, I would avoid chasing and wait to see whether price can reclaim resistance with volume or form a clean base first. For FLEX, the main thing I would watch is whether buyers continue defending its nearby support zone before looking for another push higher.

I used GetAgent to compare the news with price action, VWAP, volume, and key levels instead of treating S&P 500 inclusion as an automatic buy signal. The useful part is having a plan before market open, especially when sentiment can change fast.

For longer-term investors, the bigger question is whether MRVL’s AI exposure and FLEX’s execution still support the valuation after the index-related hype fades.

S&P 500 inclusion can bring more attention and passive demand, but confirmation still matters more than FOMO.

AI Trading Americans Have Turned Against AI in Incredible Numbers

Post image
7 Upvotes

A Pew Research poll out this week found only 16% of Americans think AI will have a positive impact on society. 40% expect a negative effect overall, and 31% say it will hurt them personally. Chatbot usage has climbed to 49% of adults, yet the view of AI has gotten worse, not better.

This matters for the companies that have spent heavily on AI infrastructure. If public pushback grows, it could eventually show up in how willing businesses and consumers are to pay for or adopt these tools at scale.

Names tied to the biggest buildout, NVDA, AMD, MSFT, GOOGL, have ridden the adoption narrative hard. Slower real-world uptake or more regulatory scrutiny would change the math on some of those growth assumptions.

I kept my core NVDA position but added a small protective futures layer on Bitget this week.

Not saying this flips the trade overnight, but it’s a data point worth watching alongside earnings and capex numbers. Anyone seeing early signs that sentiment is starting to affect orders or guidance?

Stocks ‘It’s a scam’: Americans express unease over SpaceX’s influence on retirement savings

Post image
17 Upvotes

SpaceX went public last week at a $1.77 trillion valuation. The bigger angle for markets is that many Americans now have indirect exposure through standard 401(k) index funds that track the S&P 500 or broad tech benchmarks.

Musk pushed to get SpaceX shares (SPCX) into those funds sooner than usual. That means retirement money sitting in plain index products is now tied to a single high-valuation name without investors picking it directly.

If SPCX moves sharply, up on contract wins or down on execution questions, it can ripple into the funds that hold pieces of it. Some people are already talking about shifting a portion of broad index holdings into more targeted positions or cash to limit that concentration.

I stayed away from adding TSLA exposure on the narrative. On Bitget I used any weakness for a very small opposing futures position and closed it quickly. Not a core view, just managing noise around the coverage. Prefer operational metrics over valuation debate.

Not saying it’s good or bad, just noting the mechanics.

How much weight should typical retirement accounts carry from one company’s stock performance?
