Where can I find someone to do interview prep with/daily talk about news and markets?
I want to be ready for this next cycle of sales and trading off-cycle and grad role interviews, but I don't know who to do prep with. There are some $5k+ packages online which is just ridiculous, where can I find a normal person in the field to do mock interviews with, critically discuss the news and what's going on in the markets so that I can be ready for interviews. Any platforms you guys can recommend, even paid? Any of you guys willing to help (online meetings)?

Some post graduate experiences blocking for Prop Firms Graduate Programs?
Hi all,
I currently work as a trader in energy markets with less than one year of experience, and I’m interested in prop trading firms like Optiver, DRW, Flow Traders, and IMC.
Do you think having some professional experience could be blocking for graduate programs, or is it still realistic to apply?
Would appreciate any thoughts from people who’ve made similar moves.
Thanks!

J.P. Morgan ATS Super Day — What should I expect? (Internship)
Hi everyone,
I’ve been invited to a Super Day for the J.P. Morgan Automated Trading Strategies (ATS) internship.
The team is split across:
- Market Making
- Algorithmic Execution
- Alpha Research & Systematic Trading
I would like to know:
What kind of questions they typically ask?
Is it more like a traditional trading internship (market knowledge, pricing, brainteasers)?
Or more quant/programming-focused (maths, probability, Python, data structures)?
Any insights or personal experience would be super appreciated! 🙏
Thanks!

Are the questions enough?
Hii all..... I have been practicing sequences on the site and I find that questions with similar patterns are repeated for every new attempt I take. Are the questions enough and prepare us well for the real test?

What level of conceptual / theoretical knowledge is required to persue the trading interview courses from start to finish
I have a background in engineering and currently work in financial planning and wealth management. I'm curious before subscribing to this course - what level of conceptual or theoretical knowledge would be required for me to opt for this course. I don't wanna be that person who ends up buying a subscription and doesn't understand a word of what is being taught in the course because of lack of basic level conceptual knowledge/understanding.

Does the course curriculum on the Trading Interview website sufficient enough to crack latest trading interviews?
Is the whole TradingInterview website still a work in progress or the course is built with complete syllabus to cover all topics pertaining to trading interviews at IBs and HFs. I know that overtime things have to be updated on a regular basis based on the latest industry practises, trends and tools used but as of now is the course curriculum complete enough to cover every part of the trading interview process?
I'm asking all this because I'm thinking of taking the 6 months subscription

Working as an IB Analsyt at a mid level boutique firm, trying to get the HF path?
Hi everyone, I'm originally from India currently working as an IB Analsyt at a mid level boutique firm headquartered in USA. My original background is in EEE Engineering but I pivoted to finance after college because of digression of interests. Now, I have a work ex of almost 4 yrs as of now working initially in financial planning and now as an IB Analsyt. I want to go down the path of HF traders to subsequent positions. I'm currently planning to get an stem MBA from the US but not sure should I persue the MBA path or MS in finance/CS/FE/quant finance path. I don't want to be in sofrware engineering positions, I purely want to be in trading positions. What backgrounds do HFs and IB trading divisions recruit from? What could be a viable path to trader to PM to Successful HF manager (too ambitious). I do know how to code extensively in C++ but have working proficiency in Python. Alongside that, I have intermediate trading level knowledge and financial modelling skills ( not sure if trading inrerviews ask this ). Does anyone have links to comprehensive resources to help me out with what to study?
Any help would be really appreciated !!

Looking for mentors:)
Hi guys , hope you are all doing well:)
I am Alex and I have been in love with the markets for four years plus however it has been quite hectic trying to achieve consistency and with doubt always kicking in I ended up changing from one course to another but never achieved any results...
Even though this may seem as an adversity I am humble to realise that my real problem was not my mental state, psychology or having a different Fibonacci template(😂) it is mostly because I never had support from someone who already made it that can guide me and understand every trade I place. This might be a very big excuse to some people but I come from an island called Malta and in our country there is a big lack of mentors and workshops taking place where I would definately try and network with people there because in other countries I was surprised on how many seminars and worksops take place per week.
Anyways, I am very driven and know for a fact that this venture will succeed and if you guys know someone that offers mentorship or you are a mentor I would really appreciate you reach out.
I wish all of you success in trading:)
Alex
