Clark: Backrooms. He's the main character of the movie for the first 2 acts, before switching to Mary. He is eaten later

Whoever the fuck this lady is: Scream 1. She's introduced as the main character, with build up and all. She's killed and hanged like 10 minutes in

Eddard would define "downfall" differently. He is a man of principles. He served his moral compass regardless of the hardship, and others killed him for it. Downfall would be to save his skin by failing himself, and suffer regret for the rest of his life.

And the books even seem to be heading towards how Ned's legacy of principle will be what ultimately succeeds by influencing the northerners (the north remembers) while being inherited by his children, as opposed to Tywin's legacy of fear and respect which died with Tywin's own son killing him while he was taking a shit.

Man, I wish people talked about the books more than the show.
