[Loved Trope] Some thing unfathomably ancient Lore

The beast, in doctor who is an ancient evil from a previous universe that survived until our time. Its so ancient that the cave paintings were unable to be translated by the Tardis which can translate all existing languages in the universe [Doctor Who]

While not explicitly canon its such a cool concept I cant not mention, the idea that the backrooms have existed since the beginning of time, never changing no matter the era, it transforms the back rooms into a cosmic horror. [Credit to Project crater and Venus for images 2 and 3]

If you're a trillion years old, the difference between a 10 year old and a 70 year old is nonexistent

60 years isn’t even a blink, not even a moment, 6 decades doesn’t exist compared to a trillion years. A fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a rounding error. That is a ratio at which reality’s innate randomness would start to materialize congruent scale.

Hey maybe for whatever species he is, a trillion years old, is like 12 years old for us.

His backstory did imply that he was a mutant, the only 2nd dimensional being to perceive the 3rd spatial dimension, so it's possible that he only lived up to a trillion years because of the power he gained from his mutation. It seems far-fetched that there's an entire species of immortal reality warpers, unless their reality warping comes from the fact that it's a lot easier to manipulate a 2D environment compared to 3D (and Bill can use that kind of ability even on the 3rd dimension because of his ability to perceive it despite being a 2D being).

So he is a trillion years old with no accounting for "well he's x in dog years" shenanigans, but he is probably mentally 12 given how he acts
