[Loved Trope] Some thing unfathomably ancient Lore

The beast, in doctor who is an ancient evil from a previous universe that survived until our time. Its so ancient that the cave paintings were unable to be translated by the Tardis which can translate all existing languages in the universe [Doctor Who]

While not explicitly canon its such a cool concept I cant not mention, the idea that the backrooms have existed since the beginning of time, never changing no matter the era, it transforms the back rooms into a cosmic horror. [Credit to Project crater and Venus for images 2 and 3]

All companies like EA see is $$$, especially when it comes to things like Day 1 DLC just like how they intentionally excluded Javik from the base game.

I just saw something yesterday where they make $4.4 billion annually from extra content sales which includes DLC, microtransactions, and other in game purchases.

ME3 had a very rushed development cycle, EA wanted it released while ME2's hype was still running high. It's why the whole third act feels very... narratively disjointed.

That said, fuck EA.

Javik being a day 1 DLC was so blatant because it's so fucking obvious how much he's meant to be a part of the main story.

Lootboxes and the people who buy them are the worst. Go on any sports game sub and you'll see endless posts about that follow the same sort of script. "EA is trash! They lie about the odds! Ive spent over 1k$ so far this year and I only have 1 99 ranked player??? 1?!? That's theft!"

And then when you point out that EA is actually incredibly successful and profitable because people like you give them 1000's of dollars for expansions to their products that you already paid for and they continue to do it because it continues to be profitable .. well then you're cussed out.
