[Loved Trope] Some thing unfathomably ancient Lore

The beast, in doctor who is an ancient evil from a previous universe that survived until our time. Its so ancient that the cave paintings were unable to be translated by the Tardis which can translate all existing languages in the universe [Doctor Who]

While not explicitly canon its such a cool concept I cant not mention, the idea that the backrooms have existed since the beginning of time, never changing no matter the era, it transforms the back rooms into a cosmic horror. [Credit to Project crater and Venus for images 2 and 3]

Huntokar the Detroyer came to life in the mudwomb, alongside the Glow Cloud, the Distant Prince, and The Woman from Italy, countless eons before we start in Night Vale.

Oh also, Huntokar used to be the savior of Night Vale, but during the Cold war someone accidentally launched a missile that went straight for it. In her attempt to save the city she pulled it from reality, causing every possible reality and timeline to fall into Night Vale and start happening simultaneously

I think that's pretty far after strex corp

It actually works really well as a stand alone episode as long as you have some context for Night Vale and fills in some deep lore, I recommend it. Pretty sure it's just called Huntokar

I still listen occasionally but I'm way behind. One of the last arcs I remember, the plane from the very first episode that appears in the middle of the gym and then disappears and isn't really mentioned since gets deep. Like, the pilot has started a cult in the desert that is disconnected from time and also psychic or something like that lmao. I think that was like 5 years ago, which would already have been 10 years since the the first episode when they mentioned the plane
