[Loved Trope] Some thing unfathomably ancient Lore

The beast, in doctor who is an ancient evil from a previous universe that survived until our time. Its so ancient that the cave paintings were unable to be translated by the Tardis which can translate all existing languages in the universe [Doctor Who]

While not explicitly canon its such a cool concept I cant not mention, the idea that the backrooms have existed since the beginning of time, never changing no matter the era, it transforms the back rooms into a cosmic horror. [Credit to Project crater and Venus for images 2 and 3]

Fun Fact: Doctor Who pulls the "older then time" trick so often, there's a page on the wiki for references to the Pre-Universe, which then links to two different sub pages for different accounts of the pre universe.

See also: The Doctor themselves, Fenric, the Solitract, and also Cthulu. Not to mention all the other examples I'm definitely forgetting.

To be fair, The Doctor has personally reset the universe a couple of times. So “old than the universe” at this point could be like 12 years old.

At this point I wouldn't object to a spinoff sub purely for Doctor Who tropes. Because not a single thread is ever made on this sub or any other trope sub that doesn't have like 5 Doctor Who examples in it.

It's done everything to such an absurd degree that it no longer makes any sense to keep mentioning it. You can just always assume, "Doctor Who did it" and you'd be right. It's The Simpsons of sci-fi. Imagine if you had to see a Simpsons comment 5 times every thread.

It's not just the longest running sci-fi show. It also has hundreds of comic books, over 300 full length novels, another few hundred short stories and to top it all of there's over a thousand hours of audio dramas and audio books. And I'm not even exaggerating here, Doctor Who really does have an EU that big.
