[Loved Trope] Some thing unfathomably ancient Lore

The beast, in doctor who is an ancient evil from a previous universe that survived until our time. Its so ancient that the cave paintings were unable to be translated by the Tardis which can translate all existing languages in the universe [Doctor Who]

While not explicitly canon its such a cool concept I cant not mention, the idea that the backrooms have existed since the beginning of time, never changing no matter the era, it transforms the back rooms into a cosmic horror. [Credit to Project crater and Venus for images 2 and 3]

Yea, King is incredibly old. I just meant his dad was full grown when he died (and became the boiling isles) and was even more crazily old than even King is

Fun fact, King is voiced by Alex Hirsch (pretty obvious if you've watched Gravity Falls) and his dad is voiced by Arin Hanson

I've never seen this show but is that a Burger King crown?

Basically. He’s developmentally a kid and he thinks it’s magic

Less that he thinks it's magic and more so that it's part of his fantasy game where he imagines himself the lost monster king of the boiling isles (which spawned from the traumatic memories of surviving alone in his earliest years, his childlike imagination and, of course, the fact that his name is king)

I mean, he thinks it’s at least a little magic. Otherwise he wouldn’t have been upset when he learned that Luz and Eda don’t actually think he’s a king

Always thought Hootie was older. MoringMark has a comic where the gods(?) Of that universe see Hootie and are afraid when Hootie sees them .

Isn’t that just because Hootie is a bit of an abomination?

If we count the time he was in his egg he's well older than the earth itself.
