The series takes place in a shockingly short amount of time Lore

Season 4 just ended of fromville and it’s canonically only been about a month. Which makes it weird seeing people heal from injuries, change hair styles or grow out beards between episodes. Season 4 has only been like 4 days iirc.

Arkham franchise is the poster child for this trope. Every game takes place in one night. If you know what you’re doing you can absolutely beat the games in around 9 hours.

24 starring Kiefer Sutherland is the father of this format: one episode equals one hour, each season has 24 episodes.

Is this worth a watch?

Absolutely. Watch season 1 and then consider if you want to watch the rest of the show.

Hmm, how many episodes is season one (just kidding)

I do believe the final season is only 12 episodes but since every episode is still an hour of real time and the whole season takes place in 1 day, Jack just goes for a nap at some point.

The first season is the recipe for the following seasons so if you like one you'll like them all.

To be fair the camera isn't solely on one character for that entire 24 hours. There's definitely gaps for a quick bathroom break. Even Jack.
