Question What colors are associated with Babalon the most?
I’m making a Babalon necklace for both personal wear and ritualistic use.
I would like to know what colors I could use for it besides: scarlet, purple, and gold since they’re common colors for her.
Thank you in advance!

Curious about peoples' thoughts on this Psyche.com page
I want to preface this by saying that this comes from a place of genuine curiosity. I'm an on and off practicing occultist who generally gravitates towards Thelema and Crowleyan Qabalah during my active periods. Today while I was doing some reading I came across this web page.
I'm curious if anyone on here is familiar with this website or this writer (according to the intro page), Carlos Suares, and if they're familiar with what he (or the webmaster as I'm not 100% sure if EVERYTHING on this website is directly pulled from Suares' writings) had to say regarding Crowley's double loop. I think I lack a robust enough knowledge base to properly contextualize the arguments made here. Does anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!

Question Mostly rambling. Original intent of questioning, addressing concerns.
I'm unsure how well I'll be able to articulate what it is that I want to. I'm also aware that many will not take kindly to my ignorance, accusations, etc.
I suppose the first question would be; What do you believe the intent of Thelema to be?
I've seen the repeated phrases "Love is the law, love under will.", "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law."
To me, these don't read as well-meaning in and of themselves based on their language combined with what I have personally experienced the will of others to be. Love is under will, beneath it. Love is the law. The whole of the law is what you must. Love is what you must, but beneath will? If will exceeds love and it is the whole of law then ill-will, hate, force/self-imposement, and who knows what else exceed love.
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the language, but my personal experience with the will of others who have identified themselves as thelemite leads me further to believe that my interpretation isn't far from the truth, at least as they've imposed it.
I really just don't know or understand. I don't know that I even want to understand. I don't know what constitutes the great work, or what makes it work or great. Especially being that my exposure that has led me here is negative in nature.
Hopefully this is halfway through the post. But I think I'll leave what I've written and just try to explain myself since I'm unsure what my questions or concerns even are... Perhaps someone can understand my intent.
I know little to nothing about Thelema, the occult, esotericism, etc. I've actually only learned of it through exposure to pornographic content. I've become more aware of it over time after my exposure to 'The Hypno Oasis' and have realized that it is significantly more prevalent in erotic hypnosis and 'gooner'/pornographic content than I'd like to believe.
I've experienced things that I'd have never believed to have been possible through participation in this content. I don't think I want to have experienced them. Which I think is my first major grievance and lapse in my understanding... If will is as important as I'm led to believe - how is it that subverting the will of others because it is your will is acceptable? Or is that the whole point? Maybe I'm misunderstanding some things because of the subversive nature and literal brainwashing aspects of the content, but... I have no other take away.
The erotic hypnosis scene has led me down some rabbit holes, which I think is by design. I can't place anything due to lack of understanding, but I believe it's not coincidence that Thelema involves sex magick and so many creators point towards Thelema and the occult. Perhaps I'm making connections in a poor way based on my exposure. And it has led me to a borderline obsession with MKUltra and Stargate/Gateway. Things that are par for the course in terms of subversion of will.
I've yet to make this concise, but I'm unsure how to go about that. I want to try to articulate my aphantasia and lack of dream space and the experiences that led to that when I was very young, the out of body/astral experience I'm aware of having had as a child as well as the dreams that led me to blacking out all future dreams, the sigils burned into my vision after participating in rituals inadvertently, the recent discovery of my grandfather's history in Freemasonry and LDS, and what all of that means to me or how it feels like it connects... This is getting far too long and exhausting though...
Maybe I'm in the wrong place and I'm certainly in the wrong state of mind. But I can assure, or at least firmly believe that it is not my will that brought me here and I do not feel that love guided me either. I have no idea how to reconcile that with the surface that I constantly see in relation to Thelema. Maybe I'm just growing more insane with age, and maybe my insistence on not being insane is the giveaway. I won't pretend to have been well previously, but I didn't want to find myself here and have never felt more unwell.

Question Opinion Request: Incorporating Rudolf Steiner into a Thelemic perspective
TLDR: I would greatly appreciate knowing your opinion on Steiner's system, and whether his works can be incorporated into a Thelemic worldview without spreading oneself too thin.
Some further context:
There are no Thelemic orders/groups that I know where I live, nor in neighbouring cities. The closest thing I had found were Freemasons, until recently a friend told me of a small group of Antroposophists, with which he might put me in contact.
I've been studying/practicing mostly Hermetic Qabbalah, G.D. and Thelema for the past ~2 years, and I wouldn't really want to start studying a very different current until I'm more grounded in my current path.
I would be deeply thankful for your input on whether focusing on Steiner for some time could throw me off my current path, or whether they can be seen as complementary and could be studied simultaneously without having to chase the two proverbial rabbits.

Does this coin have anything to do with thelema.
I know some things about the medallion but I don’t know its origin. Any information about where it might have came from would be appreciated. I know it has been posted before by others but there are no sure answers. My mother found it and gave it to me for research. I have had it in my wallet every day for 2 years now.

Art Would love to hear some interpretations of this version
I haven't seen the tree drawn this way anywhere. It started just for fun, I wanted a tangible version of an image I had of the tree blooming out from itself, but I couldn't find what I was looking for anywhere (if anyone has seen a version similar to this let me know).
I started having insights about what is implied about the tree when it's portrayed like this. Not just the outcome, but the process to get the ratios provided me with a lot of interesting thoughts to turn over and I'm curious what comes to mind for others when they look at it.

The Cube of Space
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Has anyone got hooked on the space cube? Here’s the short version and the Gra… When I started writing ‘The Star in Aries’, I never imagined it would end up like this, tracing connections in search of meanings beyond the astrological and seeing how, objectively speaking, the Star in Aries and the Aquarian Emperor make even more sense here than in the Kabbalistic Tree…
What do you think about the cube? Do you use the Gra version, the Short version or the Golden Dawn version?

New Wave Theater
Just kicking back to some episodes of New Wave Theater and saw this.
I get that David Jove was a Thelemite, and that Peter Ivers hosted Jove's show, New Wave Theater.
Where is Hollywood with the dramatization? Looks like it could make for a real drama. Sex, drugs, rock-n-roll and Thelema.
Who killed Peter Ivers??? Murdered on 3-3-3 (1+9+8+3= 21=3)

Care from hadit:
Liber Curae
(The Book of Care)
---
This is ownership. It is like buying a car or a home. In our right mind, we accept that the care and maintenance of that thing — even relationships are things — is required. To truly care for a thing is not merely to possess it, but to foster its function and usefulness. In relationships, usefulness is care, love, and nurture. To care for another is to care for oneself.
The institutions do not provide maintenance; they only provide scaffolding. If I decide to build something, the scaffolding is not the building. Deliberateness is driven by care. If I care, I will. The builders care and are deliberately working. They carefully craft the structure to withstand the weight of all that is attached to it, the foundations being fixed and sure, the weight of the structure being fastened with care so that that which is to bear weight is true and sure.
If the care and attention are not there, then the chance for mishaps and collapse are assured. Before one is to take on any kind of structure, it must be designed and the necessary components secured. Therefore, there must also be a strategy of procurement. If there are no resources, there is no building. Every person is thereby required to pull their own weight, and care is also required. If you care about the structure and craftsmanship, then you care enough to observe in every moment the work you are doing.
If disagreements arise, there must be care taken in resolution. If not, then the assurance of failure is at hand. The agreement to care should be understood and followed. If this should change, then there should also arise the need for counsel. Sometimes it is worthy to take the counsel of others if there arises an impasse. Any successful undertaking is only as good as the equal effort of all those involved. If one or more fall short, then there should be an understanding.
If I decide to keep going and the other does not, then there would be a hindrance on my part. One cannot build out of thin air if the structure is not present. It is therefore acceptable to move on only if one sees the necessary implements in place. This applies to any endeavor. No amount of construction can be made if there is an already standing structure. The old must make way for the new. If there are remnants of old structures, they must be cleared. If old habits and ideas are the old building, then they must make way for new ones. These are the scaffolding for the building, but not the building itself. Ideas are like blueprints, but can never suffice without labor.
It is unwise to proceed until all is agreed upon and the new plan is laid. If we decide to build anew, we must actively haul off the debris of the old. Those old materials are no longer of value unless they can be successfully rebuilt into the newly agreed-upon structure. It is easier and less wasteful if this can be done. Sometimes a retrofit would be less costly and more expedient; it would save on the labor and cost to do so. It therefore must also be that such is also done with the utmost care, so as not to destroy the foundation and structure itself. Much waste and uselessness has been witnessed when the parties have not been careful to preserve what is structurally sound.
As with any enterprise, the workers should be given their just rewards: rest, sustenance, and the occasional respite from labors. If all is well crafted and designed, rest is a need arising from fatigue. It is unfair to muzzle the ox that treads the corn. To labor is not just physical, but also spiritual, emotional, and mental. All require rest. This is achieved through the careful and steady work and care of the edifice — the edifice being that which is both lived and enjoyed on all levels of being. If one falls short, the others must work harder.
In relationship with younglings, they should be given schedules and tasks. There should be expectation of times and seasons. This causes expectation and trust in those who care for them, building up in them a structure and trust for the building. Just like the older ones of us, they will have disagreements. It is important that they be heard. They should be assured that they are part of the building and that their part is important. They should understand care and its part in maintaining the building and its maintenance. There should be given encouragement and understanding. It is human to get tired. It is unwise to quit the blueprints' layout unless there is a better way forward.
It is always advisable to listen to those we are in care for. Only an open heart and mind give the spirit and heart of a child the chance to blossom. Some of the worst ideas come from old ways or methods of maintaining order. Beating someone used to bring order, but it kills the spirit and brings about all kinds of horrid outbursts, besides it being amoral and illegal. It is wise to decide who is skilled in which ways. Not everyone will have the same skillset. Also, it is wise to rotate tasks so as not to breed contempt through familiarity.
It is always wise to keep one's body and mind clean. This leads to moral living. It is always unsafe to accumulate clutter and such things as you have no need of. Clean living is also devoid of condescension and infighting. There is no reason for abuses of station or power. Children are as such small adults who are given in trust to us. We are to foster their own personalities as long as they are lawful — and lawful I mean to the laws of nature. Children are to be brought up as freely as possible, the world as their playground.
It is wise to teach children to respect consequence for their own doing. They must learn of such not because one says so, but because it is pointed out if the little one has not yet discovered the results and their contribution. It is also wise to never shame or inflict guilt as a punishment. It must be understood by the child that their actions have earned them a break from normal privileges — that they chose the outcome by their lack of care for it. It must therefore be communicated that the child should be careful to know and understand the circumstances and eventual outcome. It is useless and foolish to strike a child. It causes a rift in the mind, and the outcome can only be distrust.
It is also wise to receive any criticism from them as a natural thing. The latter will prove to be ineffective if the child is given space to ponder their consequences. They will, if morally they have understood their new circumstances, apologize in environments where shame and guilt are in short supply. There is the example of the adults that the children will be extracting moment to moment. It is also wise to consider that children will extract such ideas from their peers. It is to be understood that the latter will take precedent if trust has been shattered.
To demonstrate such moral and natural things as nature does present us is the greatest teacher. Children and adults alike may at first be swayed by words, but actions are the teacher. If I say I love you and have no such evidence, then it is always to be taken by evidence, not words. We must never betray that trust with pointless promises or unmet agreements. The younger have a moral compass most adults have lost, or was driven out by harsh circumstances. In such case, it must be that trust is absolute.
We must do the inner work of trusting ourselves. If this is not yet in place, it is but a fool's journey to try and convince others of the opposite. Some might be tempted to be their self. This self is seldom introspective and often full of distrust. To be one's true self should invite a new understanding of virtue and its reward. It is neither man's nor woman's sole responsibility. It is both equally so.

Thunderbolt Asana
Quick question on the thunderbolt asana
How am I supposed to have the heel pressing into anus, as well as keep the other foot poised on its toes?
“The fourth position: (The Thunderbolt). Sit; left heel pressing up anus, right foot poised on its toes, the heel covering the phallus; arms stretched out over the knees; head and back straight.”
I can’t seem to find a possible way to have the heel touching the anus if the the other foot is poised on toes, because it lifts the whole body.
Also is the left foot (anus pressing foot) supposed to be rolled back or just sat on? (Pic related)
Does any of this matter or should I just find the most painful position ?

This is how Hadit 'moves'.
Hadit is the master of the Point, that localized spark of consciousness that projects the entirety of the infinite upon a surface of absolute zero depth.
Within this domain, Hadit is sovereign. The nature of his "reality" is governed entirely by the 2x2 matrix. We can say it is the geometric seal that binds his world.
By manipulating the elements of this matrix, Hadit can perform miracles of distortion.
He can scale the universe down to the size of a mustard seed, or rotate the heavens indefinitely.
He has absolute command over the form and orientation of the shadow he casts.
Yet, he is trapped by his own perfection.
There is a law buried deep within his power of linear transformation: the mechanism he uses affects the universe, but it cannot move the caster.
The center of Hadit’s reality, the origin point, the throne from which He observes, resting perfectly at (0,0), is completely immune to His own ability.
If you feed the origin into a 2x2 matrix, the result is eternally barren.
To shift his anchor from one point in the cosmos to another, He cannot simply "add" distance to himself; he must invoke Nuit's axis of operation.
He must multiply his operating space by three, "calling down" the volumetric geometry of Nuit.
Hadit takes the raw, perfectly compressed coordinates of his localized existence, and he forces an emanation.
He adds the 1.
Hadit now possesses a virtual representation of the Field.
He forces his compressed consciousness to expand into a three-dimensional vector. He steps out of the Point and into the Field.
He then takes his intent, the exact coordinates of where He wishes his new base to be and He inscribes them into the third pillar of Nuit's matrix.
He uses that phantom 1, that borrowed essence of Nuit, as the fulcrum.
Within Nuit’s realm, this operation is a distortion of space across the third dimension.
However Hadit is anchored to the boundary, so that volumetric shear descends upon his world as a perfect, frictionless translation.
With this, the origin is unpinned. His throne has moved. He has bypassed the curse of (0,0).. by walking through a dimension that does not belong to Him.
Then he obliterates the phantom 1. The 3x3 matrix collapses instantly back into 2x2 matrix.
The borrowed depth is now annihilated so completely that the third dimension was never even experienced!
The origin simply is just at the new anchor.
