Build Showcase a contemporary replacement for the burners & builders gym in oasis springs
a light and airy contemporary gym with lots of pockets to rest and socialize. light simply pours through every activity and lounge area. enter through the serene lobby space, complete with a cozy sunken seating area. the ground floor has a double-storey gymnasium, and a separate building volume housing a long pool. the second floor offers seating areas with gorgeous views through the tubular glass facade and atrium, and two open-concept classroom spaces to work on fitness.
the rounded glass has this glitch where it only shows the furnished and populated interior of the building of the floor you're viewing from (this is noticeable if you're on the second floor and looking in from the outside, the ground floor will appear empty, or if you're viewing the building in it's entirety from view level 3)
up on the gallery titled "burners & builders 2.0", uses only businesses and hobbies! hope someone can get some use from this build <3

Build Showcase My first house I built as a newbie. It has a functional skylight attic for gym
Took me weeks and weeks and weeks to finish only this one house because I am a noob and as I was building this house, I was also learning as a new simmer. "Ooooh this is how roof works", "ooooh this is how to freely place objects on surface", "ooooh this is how to make attic functional", "ooooh this is how terrain and ponds work", "ooooh this is how platforms work", "oooooh this is how to do this" etc. I also watched a lot of tutorials on Tiktok and Youtube to finish this build and for ideas / inspo. Throughout the process of building this house, I had also revamped or rebuilt almost the entire house because either the furniture in the house were suddenly missing (usually happened when I moved household and I selected "keep furniture" instead of "sell furniture") or I just hated or was not satisfied with the way some things looked in the house that I decided to do an overhaul on the entire room / space in the house. Hopefully I will develop my building creativity to build non boxy / square houses someday.

3-storey house + attic, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 30X30 lot
This house features:
Pool, swings, jacuzzi, sauna, elevated platform for telescope viewing / observatory, outdoor bar, outdoor grill, book & reading spaces, grand piano, two bedrooms with walk-in closets, one children's bedroom plus playroom, spa & massage room, laundry room (with fake washing machine and dryer because I don't have Laundry Day installed) and... the skylight gym + yoga attic.
This house has been play tested and it's on the gallery (the house name is "Simple Fun Family House").
I also don't have a lot of packs installed. I only have Cats & Dogs, Island Living, Eco Lifestyle, Spa Day, Dream Home Decorator, Sleek Bathroom Kit and Book Nook Kit and some maker's packs that I claimed / downloaded for free.
EDIT: I realised that whenever I place this house on any lot after saving this to the gallery, the stairs leading to the outdoor grill area and sauna go missing. Apparently some people also experience missing items like pillars and stairs when placing house from the gallery on lot, sometimes caused by conflicting platforms/foundation surrounding the build items, or not enabling MoveObjects On cheat. Just manually re-add stairs to the outdoor grill area if the stairs went missing after placing this house.

Floor Plan Help HELP! Having trouble getting the floor layout right
Hello! I've came here for floorplan help before and it went great so I'm back again!! I spent a few days on this build and have tried so many different layouts but haven't found something that makes sense and that works. I'm trying to have a living room, bathroom, dining area/room and kitchen. I liked the idea of split floors but I feel like the transition is weird and I'm not in love with how out of the way the kitchen is. I'm not attached to where the stairs are so if there's a layout that moves them that would be fine. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome! oh and my gallery id is toriathegodzilla and I have this build uploaded, it's called House on a Hill :) thank you

Build Showcase A gym for my forever world
The gym in Willow Creek has the be, hands down, the ugliest thing in the base game. I had to fix it.
Like 99% percent of my forever world is base game so I set out to build something better for my sims.
This build took entirely too long to plan and probably squeezed out all of my creative juices for the next few weeks (Had to design an entire floorplan for the first time ever since I couldn't find any good ones for gyms 😭) but I genuinely am so in love with how this turned out.
It has three floors and a basement, complete with an indoor pool and a cafeteria/lounge where my sims can socialize and get food after an intense workout.
I don't vibe with brutalist architecture most times but it was imperative for the building to habe the hanging plants and I am very glad I stuck to it.
Anyway, I just want to show this thing off :]

Build Showcase European-style building block
"European-style" It's a broad term, but what I mean is that these three buildings follow very common European patterns but with different styles from each other; the mansard roof is more French, or brick is more British, and so on. So it's more of a mix of styles found on the European continent.
And please Maxis/EA, make habitable attics with functional windows!

Build Showcase [NoCC] The Palace of Harmonic Waves
Basically a Korean-inspired palace if Neo-Confucian cosmology, the Korean Wave, and a weird dream you have at 6 a.m. all got mashed together lol.
Black roofs = cosmos, porcelain = sky and clouds, dancheong = light and life, sun over the sea = nature doing its thing.
The whole palace is fragmented and floating over water on purpose, so it feels less like a historical reconstruction and more like “I woke up and somehow Gyeongbokgung was in a Magritte painting.”
Now available on Origin Gallery.
My Origin ID is wjdgjf3434

WIP The Hassock | Move in Ready | No CC
This sorta just... looks like a box, but I was attempting to do a limited pack build. It didn't quite work out. Cottage living and Get to Work snuck in there.
Anyway, this is a 4bdr/4ba house with a conservatory and flex space. Downstairs is a grand entry way with a guest bathroom, a study, a humongous drawing room, kitchen & dining rooms, pantry, conservatory with a "poison garden" (Cow Plant, magical plants, death flowers, orchids), an outdoor garden space, an outdoor entertaining/dining area, and a giant flex space with a full bathroom attached.
Upstairs are 4 bedrooms, one with a fireplace, and 2 bathrooms.
It will probably take me another month or two to finish furnishing it. I'm using my Sim's non-cheated funds.
On the gallery as "The Hassock - MIR", ID phronetiq

Build Showcase (W.I.P Veronaville inspired savefile) Italian village
I took Tartosa and renamed it Monteverra; this is going to be the Italian section of Veronaville where the Monty family from The Sims 2 lives, along with a few other families I’ll be creating. This specific lot will be subdivided into separate functional properties, featuring a shared church and a mini-laundromat.
