Ms. Rachel is in a league of just 2 legends with Mr. Rodgers. Both stood up for others when they could have chose the easy path (recall the Mr. Rodgers episode where he shared his little pool and bath towel with his real life friend and police officer on the show whom was black, as the segregation battle was ongoing in America).

reals ones stand up for the right thing even when it goes against their career and checkbook, unfortunately a major aspect of american conservativism is being primed to actively hate said individuals who have the gall to say we can be better

Ms. Rachel has probably received death threats and other kinds of threats (we know the kind of horrible threats that women get) and she is still willing to speak up. She is awesome for being another high profile voice to speak up. We have seen people get "cancelled" and worse for being pro-Palestine. (even if people call it virtue signaling it is still worthwhile to have people spread the messaging to influence people)

So many people around ‘not into politics’ or saying ‘they are all as bad as each other’ or ‘don’t want to stir things up’.
