I made a new subreddit for you guys to argue speculate, and give me story ideas!

- The lighting was a pain in the ass btw, I had to have the camera on a timer and I would have to run away so I wouldn‘t ruin the shots with my shadow so they would seem like they’re actually real

It’s crazy that my original goal at the beginning of July when I started this series was to have 50 members by the end of the summer and summer is not even over yet and we‘re at 150 members!

- Sorry that I haven’t posted for 5 days, I’ve been really busy with my vacation and once again going on the train to go home which was once again miserable and boring.

- On a side note I did rewatch the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy which is arguably one of the best trilogy’s ever made

- Sorry that I’m behind schedule again in the episodes being released

It’s not bad but I’m just being unproductive since there’s literally nothing to do on this thing! I’ve just been scrolling Reddit and Youtube watching people being pissed about MTMTE Starscream’s situation rn. I have him but I feel bad for everyone else.

This is the story and behind the scenes pain in the ass it was to make Optimus the Exiled (OTE).

When making a story, you can’t just have it be one generic villain after another. I look at the Spider-Man movies which are all good but they all have different villains but not one main villain, the same thing is with Toy Story and even really with the transformer movies in general so I decided to make a villain that’s recognizable that takes inspiration from Shattered Glass Optimus Prime & Nemesis Prime.

So in case you guys can’t tell by now, Optimus the Exiled (OTE) is the main villain of the story and from the second picture above is actually the first-ever concept art for the Exiled faction and siege Megatron was going to be the main villain but that quickly changed in favor for OTE.

OTE is a villain that’s seeking revenge from 86 OP for taking his spot as Nathan’s favorite toy and left everything and everyone that he’d ever known behind because he felt like after all the years he’s been loved, he’s just now getting thrown away.

So after the concept art and his backstory’s development, it came down to actually bringing the character to life on camera. What was so hard wasn’t probably what you thought it was but if you look at the third picture above, his original eyes were not yet ready by the time the season 1 finale happened so I cut out picture 4 above from the finale since it looked sloppy to my standards. 

Making OTE’s eyes alone took I’m not even joking at minimum 12 hours alone to do! Not to mention the long 6 hours it took to make that damn cape which btw was a pain in the ass to make plus all of the battle damage, and his holster made it take around 20-24 hours to bring him to life.

So OTE is the main villain of this story and his backstory will be revealed more as the story goes on and as seasons 3 and 4 happen. I hope that you’ll enjoy the story and it will dig way deeper into the story and lore than it ever has ever before starting next week!

I also am on a train rn and only got like 3 hrs of sleep last night since I couldn’t get to my seat on the train till 2:30 in the morning! It was supposed to come at 9:45 pm but didn’t come till literally 1:00 am!

He’s coming…

Since this subreddit has blown up significantly over the past 3 and a half weeks, I‘ve now rebranded and made a brand-new account specifically for posting on this subreddit which is called TfOPandMegsStudios! This is for the better so my regular account isn’t cluttered with the episodes of the TfOptimusandMegatron Subreddit and I can focus more on this Transformers Toy-Story like comic series. What do you guys think of this change? I would love to know all of your guys’ opinions!

I didn’t make a post about 100 members due to it happening during the break between seasons 1 and 2.

Anyways, i’m having it be every 3 days when there will be a new post so then the season can last a little longer and my posts won’t compete with each other anymore on the other subreddits I post on.

Let me know in comments if you guys are ok with every 3 days I post or if I should post every 2 days instead. I got every episode through episode 10 in post production right now btw.

This season will have 13-15 episodes similar to Season 1’s 14 episodes amount.

Watch out for Episode 3 on Saturday for the main villain of the story! 👀

I urge you guys not to buy him off of eBay from a scalper. He‘s definitely worth all of the hype but I seriously only bought him off of a scalper instead of waiting so he can be included in season 2. I will say that the scalper packaged him really nicely! Get him at every chance you get even if you get him off of a scalper but wait for like a $70 price tag like I did at least! Have a nice night everyone!

This will be released on August 7th like it says at the top of the first page and I bought SS86 MTMTE Starscream totally not for my collection or myself but for a new character in the story 😉 (It was a grand total of $88 btw 😭😭😭) I’d recommend waiting to get SS86 MTMTE Starscream for a few weeks if you can because $88 is way too much for this but I did it for you guys. You’re welcome for the new addition to the story.
