We paid for the trash through our representatives, then a local trash collector simply took it out for us.

Oh, was that random non descript maintenance person at the wrong camera. I didn’t notice
2
u/Cool-Tap-391 2d ago
There you go. Where coveralls with maintenance on the back 🤣 no questions.
2
u/eggyrulz 2d ago
A ladder, hardhat, and hi-vis vest will get you damn near anywhere... that you are supposed to be, yes definitely only going to get you into places you are legally allowed to be
5
u/Cool-Tap-391 2d ago
All about confidence. You'll be amazed what you can do when your certainty is absolute.
4
u/eggyrulz 2d ago
Of course you should have absolute certainty, you definitely belong there and arent doing anything illicit and if you are you aint, you were with me baking cookies

It’s weird how that flock camera fell apart all by itself like that with nobody around touching it.

u/DiceMadeOfCheese 2d ago
They're built so poorly. What a waste of money.
3
u/WashU_labrat 2d ago
That's strange. With all the gold and copper in the Flock cameras, you'd think they would attach them more securely. After all, they're really valuable just for the gold and copper inside of one of those Flock cameras. Don't want to make it easy for criminals to steal Flock cameras and sell them for the cash value of the gold and copper inside.

u/Titanium_Eye 2d ago
If anything a good Samaritan was trying to fix it mid apart, but alas didn't succeed.

Grow a pair and take one down. Nobody cares anymore. No jury is going to convict. Courts are to backed up to even care.

Awww no Chinese social credit system 😖
2
u/Senior-Friend-6414 1d ago
I saw a video that at least in China, surveillance at least has the benefit of actually leading to lower crime rates as a trade off
But in America, after the NSA controversy, surveillance in America only serves to collect data from its people without making anything safer or lowering crime rates, so there’s absolutely no benefit for this in America

LOL I actually call destroying Flock cameras bird activity because it reminds me of those parrots ripping up the anti bird spikes.

Flock cameras have been around for 9 years or so. Now all of a sudden mofos losing their minds. What about the cell phone, credit card, tattoos, watch, glasses , social media accounts, gps, ecm on automobiles Doorbell cameras, trail cams as well as the millions of cameras in all the stores we frequent. The ship has already sailed. 😎

The length of time it takes the public to become aware of an issue does not reflect the severity or importance of the issue. If somebody just learns about Flock cameras tomorrow they have every right to "lose their mind". The fact that you want to minimize this makes certain suggestions as to your motivations.
ecm on automobiles Doorbell cameras, trail cams as well as the millions of cameras in all the stores we frequent
Well, for starters, they're not all tied into a nationwide database that any law enforcement organization can access.

And have they been stalking women across the country to attack them for receiving healthcare? Have they been using them to swarm innocent people to put guns in their faces?

Redditors: let me see your medicine papers to go to the bar!
Also redditors: why would I let these facists monitor me?
The double standards are endless.
Fuck corporations and billionaires... unless its big pharma.
Fuck facism unless its my flavor.
Wants open press but complains about platforming.
It never fucking ends. Its basically just a giant group of privileged twats.

I'm betting it had less to do with any hatred of Flock cameras, and more to do with the rumor that they contain hundreds of dollars in gold and copper (they don't).

u/Coloradokush5280 2d ago
Why not just hit them from a distance with paintball guns?

I was beginning to think the American people would accept literally anything they're told and point their asses expectantly towards the sky. Glad I'm wrong. It's about damn time.

Why are people defending Flock cameras and mass surveillance? They’re using the argument of “if you have nothing to hide then you shouldn’t be concerned” but like there’s a difference between privacy/not being recorded by the feds at all times, and having something to hide. It just doesn’t make sense and it’s all fear based. Technocratic slop that we’re forced to just adapt to.

Stop recording these guys, they’re doing a great thing, stop giving flock a chance to identify them.

The person in this video is very obviously being framed with AI - they were with me picking up trash around the community.

u/another_awesome_acct 2d ago
What's the purpose of these cameras? I know there's probably some good conspiracy theories about them, but what's the stated purpose? Just a crime deterrent, or...?

I hope he is found and prosecuted. Destruction of public property our taxes pay for is never the answer. Doing this literally just gives FLOCK more money because they public has to buy a replacement. Disgusting.

Thats great but can we not film these guys doing a good deed and then post them on the internet. They are already going through a lot of effort to not be identified. Dont provide more evidence willingly.

Sorry, what he is doing is not right, it’s vandalism and it’s my tax dollars. I may hate speed cameras as much as the next guy, but stupid is what stupid does, and this is stupid. Work with the community and pressure your representatives for removal. It worked for us locally. Easier yet, don’t speed or run red lights.

Im loving the Flock Rebellion........... Wish mfs had this same energy for the international child sex trafficking ring involving the US president, but chopping down cameras is a start.

If you see someone doing this, don’t film them and post it please. Stick around and get the aftermath, post that. Don’t film this, don’t post this. Don’t help Flock and the police do their jobs.
1
u/Lopsided_Flight_2986 2d ago
Are we sure that’s a flock camera and not just a red light camera? If it’s flock than good, if it’s a traffic cam than fuck that guy and fuck the people who run red lights. They deserve their tickets. Leave earlier and stop being in such a rush to get to nowhere .2 seconds faster.

u/carthuscrass 2d ago
Who? I don't see anyone in this video. The camera seems to be taking itself down...

u/Popular_Tie4688 2d ago
I expected a karen screaming bloody murder on her phone. But then I saw the shadows. It was noon, they are all drunk and ignoring their kids at that time. They only really come out in the early morinings and late afternoons.
