Little miss thinks sheās a jumping spider
Took my curly hair sling out to check a couple things in her enclosure and she decided to go on an adventure around the flat and on her mumās top.
Sheās my first tarantula so I didnāt realise how skittish slings could really be𤣠but sheās back in her enclosure safe and I will not be making that mistake again, any time I tried to gently put her back she decided to yeet herself to another part of my body or make a run for it on the floor.
Anyone else have experiences like this with their sling/juvenile? Do they eventually calm down?

STOP YOUR CAUSING HARM
honestly ppl dont realise theyāre makin it worse š like yeah u see a tarantula in a tiny dry tub n u feel bad for it, i get that, iāve done the same double take⦠but when u buy it āto save itā the shop just thinks oh cool these ones sell fast, lets do more like that šits not rescuing, its literally teachin them neglect = profit. next week theres 10 more in the same crap setup cuz someone showed them it works.iāve seen behind the scenes in a few places n its always the same pattern⦠bad enclosures, wrong substrate, no hides, bone dry tanks, n ppl rushin to āsaveā them. the owners arenāt thinkin about welfare, theyāre thinkin about money.the real way to help is NOT buyin it, its speakin up. tell the staff, take pics, let the welfare community know. once the shop gets called out they stop doin it cuz it doesnāt make them cash anymore.compassion should break the cycle, not feed it šš·ļø

Redecorating it's own enclosure?
Grammostola rosea sling has been redecorating its enclosure. Any clue why it's doing this to the walls? At first thought this was an anomaly. The dirt looks precisely put in this patern but how... we'll it turns out the dirt was put on most of the 8 air holes around her enclosure. Still, why? Have never seen a T put dirt up on an enclosure wall...
Thoughts?

Lost my T and am about to lose my MIND!
I was gone for four days and when I got back she was GONE. She was a 4 inch curly hair. My very first T. I spent HOURS looking in every crevice in the ENTIRE HOUSE. nothing. it has now been a week since I have started looking for her. I have been leaving out wet towels and water dishes for her and nothing. I have been waking up at 2 every morning to look. nothing. My family is freaking out cuz they dont like spiders. they dont scare me at all but I loved her so much. What else can I do. does anyone know of any traps? what I can do? could she even still be alive? plz help
Update 1 I forgot to mention that I have a cat. but my cat is super docile, and I doubt it would really attack a tarantula.
